Jedediah was in the music room, thinking about playing the clavichord. As he sat down, he felt Rosaline's blood scent. He realized that she had left her room. So, he stood up and followed her.
When he reached the main hall, he found Rosaline and Anthony talking. She wanted to go to the market. However, when Anthony told her that she must inform Jedediah about this, she started to act strange.
Jedediah decided to accompany her. It was an evening hour, so the heat would not bother him. He stepped down the last stair and said, "Let's go together."
Upon hearing him, Rosaline and Anthony turned to look in his direction.
"Eh?" Rosaline did not want him to accompany her.
Jedediah came near her and stood by her side. "Anthony, we might be back late," he said, which confused Rosaline.
“What…?, Why…?” Rosaline tilted her head to look at him when she felt his hand on her shoulder, and she instantly moved her head to the other side.
