After he ate the lunch Head Kelly made for him, he then immediately assessed the paper works he had missed. When he checked the papers, he went to the lobby to look for Sheryl. As he arrived, Hans instantly spotted the two love birds—Sheryl and her pair—lovingly flirting with each other, which he finds preposterous.
Seeing the lovely couple made him want to ruin the mood, however, he considered that he is not anymore a child to do that. He then approached the pair and patted the shoulder of Sheryl's pair.
"Excuse me, I hate to interrupt your romantic moment but can I borrow Sheryl for a moment?" he announced.
The pair had no objection and so he permitted Hans, "Sure, no problem. I'll excuse myself then, Sir Baron."
The man leaned forward with respect and left while Hans took the opportunity to discuss things with Sheryl. When he turned to face Sheryl, what welcomed him was her annoyed face.
"Tsk...What is it this time?" she questioned while crossing her arms and glare at him at the same time.
Hans ignored her pretentious annoyance and quickly led her to his office, "Come with me."
Sheryl couldn't help but feel the need of getting everything straight to the point. He stared at Hans suspiciously, thinking that he might have feelings for her. She felt bad but at the same time wanted to see him being dumped.
"Why do you want me to come with you?" she asked, expecting Hans to confess. However, to her dismay, expectation vs reality is always a thing from the very beginning.
"I need you to gather some agents to look for some information I'll be giving to you. It is regarding the Forbidden Venom," he instructed as he deliberately opened the door and handed over the black folder containing all the information once he arrived at his table.
Sheryl felt somehow embarrassed for expecting Hans to have sort of romantic feelings for her and at the same time, dejected thinking. 'Yeah, right. Him being in a relationship is out of this world.'
She immediately scanned the papers as she tried to divert her embarrassment and complimented him, "Quick-witted as ever."
Her expression suddenly changed upon flipping to the next page of the file. Hans seemed to notice her sudden change of expression
"What's wrong?" he asked while typing on his laptop.
She stared at him in disbelief and said as she showed him the picture of the Female Blood, "You found another Female Blood? A-are you sure she's a Female Blood?"
Hans didn't quite understand what she meant behind those words but he has no time to dwell on the things he isn't concerned with. So, he answered her bluntly, "Yes, she is. I almost forgot to tell you, but we'll be meeting her today. Prepare the special agents for me, as well."
"Do you know her whereabouts?" Sheryl asked with hesitation; however, Hans didn't bother engaging himself to unnecessary curiosity.
"It is said that she's staying in an abandoned building." He informed her while focusing himself in the files he's been contemplating with.
Before Sheryl could utter anything in her mind someone knocked and opened the door. It welcomed Sheryl's pair by saying, "I accidentally heard that you needed some agents? I already gathered them at the training ground."
Hans stood up as he thanked him while informing him that he's coming with them. Sheryl called out her pair.
"Ian, you're coming?" she asked with mixed emotion.
Ian smiled at her and nodded as he told her that it was necessary if Hans was the one who ordered him. When Sheryl averted her gaze back to the picture of the Female Blood, her frustration immediately built up while clenching her fist. Ian noticed her which made him ask if she was alright, Sheryl slightly jolted then smiled at him with reassurance.
When they arrived at the training ground, Hans gave out his firm instruction which no one can go against. Everyone abides by his orders since the agents and SA with him including Ian are all under his rule. He was given authority by his master to take apprentices but he didn't take it into account. Instead, he asked to make his relationship like teacher and student only.
They all marched towards the cars and made their way out of the mansion. As soon as they arrived at the old and abandoned apartment rooms, all the SAs and agents went to the post assigned to them. On the other hand, Hans, Sheryl, and Ian went ahead as they waited for the agents to settle themselves.
"Why do we have to do this again? She's just a Female Blood." Sheryl crossed her arms the moment she asked Hans with irritation. Hans glanced at her, expressing his cold aura which made her jolt and shiver from his stare.
"Watch." Was the only thing he said to her as he intensely looked at a certain room of the abandoned apartment.
The tension goes on and on, suddenly, a door burst open and broke as it banged the whole apartments then special agents and agents readied their weapons with their ability. The Female Blood came out of her apartment with a cloth covering her mouth as her hands were tied, struggling to break free while glaring at the unseen man behind her.
Few furry creatures in different colors: brown, white, grey, and mixed ones—jumped out of the rooms and went to where Hans stationed his subordinates and ready for the upcoming fight. The man tossed the girl onto his shoulder and flew towards Hans.
Revealing himself to the limelight, a man who is an alpha among the alphas, the Supreme Alpha. He snickered and greeted the hunters with mockery in his eyes.
"Ohhh, Is this a new way of greetings? Well… fancy meeting you, hunters." He shrugged his shoulders then placed his one hand on the hips.
He paused for a moment when he saw Hans, it made him grin mischievously as he pointed toward the human full of maliciousness in his eyes.
"Hmm…Is he one of yours? Or is he not?" he said.
Sheryl who's behind Hans raised her eyebrow and said, "Hans is a human and is not someone whom you can lay your dirty hands with! If I were you, don't even try hurting him!"
Hans felt somewhat irritated by her statement which made him glare at her. Sheryl slightly jolted then aggressively looked away from Hans. When the Supreme Alpha heard Sheryl's word, it made him grin widely.
"I see." He said as if he knew something that the hunters didn't whereas his eyes glowered to yellow-gold.
Supreme Alpha-Liam Cohen, Lycan: Shape-shifter and Naked-eye
As mysterious and barbaric as he looks is a 35-year-old Supreme Alpha among the alphas. Wearing a ripped shoulders shirt and a tattered jean. He matched it with some chains on the waist and his neckline. Then over the shirt with a jean type jacket, feeling the vibe of a rough and rugged man.
His purest white hair keeps his jet-black eyes in outstanding appearance, whereas his physical body can make the women drool with his handsomeness. No one can deny that he is, without a doubt, the Supreme Alpha. His badass look really compliments his whole personality of being nosy, curious, mysterious, and barbaric,
He is a shape-shifter in both human and lycan form as it changes into a white fur making it look magnificent. And every single one of the lycans are as mischievous as the vampires, which is the normal identity of the lycans.
Not only they can shape-shift but they are also blessed with extraordinary ability. Liam's naked-eye is indeed an unfair type of ability. It allows him to see the true identity and inner heart of a person as his eyes turn gold which he can use against his opponents, making it their weakness.
Liam walked closer to Hans; he leaned his face closer to Hans' side as his lips reached Hans' ears. He whispered to him which he and Hans could only hear as his eyes slowly beamed to gold. Hans' eyes slightly widened then frowned as he slightly glanced at the lycan beside him.
Hans rashly shoved him away, however, Liam was quick to avoid him and said, "Woah!... Easy there. You'll ruin my face."
He moved back, away from the human then snickered at him which Hans felt an unpleasant feeling towards him. Hans tried to compose himself while his other hand was wide opened and he said in monotone.
"She is not yours to keep, Supreme Alpha."
Liam felt somewhat pleased with Hans as he brushed off his hair.
"I'm touched~ Knowing that you know who I am but I found her first. What should I do?" he asked as he shrugged and jokingly faced his pack.
Some of his pack smiled evilly and some laughed mockingly by the way their Supreme Alpha playfully asked them. Hans immediately reminded the Supreme Alpha in front of him.
"You should be aware of the contract you've made with the Hunters and Vampires, Supreme Alpha." He said.
Liam's gaze returned to Hans with a bit of seriousness but then he sneered and said, "I am, I am. But we don't even know to whom she belongs."
Hans stared at the girl who's on Liam's shoulder, he closed his eyes for a second then to the alpha.
"She belongs to her pair." He said monotonously.
Liam was a bit surprised by how cocky Hans could be that it made him laugh so hard.
"Pair? You mean… she belongs to the Hunters? Pfft! Hahahaha… How ridiculous!" he said.
He tried holding back his laughter whereas the Female Blood was devastated because she might fall by Liam's recklessness.
Suddenly, a man's voice echoed the area as he raucously said, "I think you're the ridiculous one!"
They all looked around after hearing those words which landed on the man on top of the building on the other side of the road. The man whom they call, Head Asher, stared down at them as his eyes glowed purple.
