When the Emperor and his eldest son arrived at the company, few of the guards escorted them to Grand Duke Arthur's office. A lot of human and vampire workers greeted the two of them while they passed through them. Gilbert called out two employees and discussed some few things before dismissing them then went to follow the two royals.
Within the corridors, to the floor where the Grand Duke's office is located, a beautiful woman (human) approached them and made the vampires halt from their tracks. She gave the emperor her prettiest smile as she elegantly bowed and greeted him.
The button of her polo was slightly opened, revealing her cleavage as he slowly moved her hair at the back of her ear to give it a little exposure. Her perfume scent was so strong that it annoyed the two Adonis while she felt confidence building up in herself.
She thought that she had gotten their good side, however when she slightly lifted her head to see their reactions. On the contrary to her expectation, what she saw was full of disgust not only to the two royals but the rest who were with them. She felt sweat pouring down her face, not knowing where it went wrong. Emperor Charles called out his personal secretary which Gilbert replied immediately.
He instructed Gilbert without even looking at her, "Take her away. I have no need for employees who don't even know the proper dress code of this company. It seems she had too much free time to even dare to face me with lustful eyes while her co-workers are working day and night, and even abide MY RULES."
Gilbert immediately abided by Emperor Charles' instruction and commanded the guards to send her away. The woman begged Emperor Charles to give her another chance and forgiveness but no response came out from his mouth. And that's when she finally noticed the Prince, she tried to convince and seduce Prince William.
But to her dismay, all she heard from him was, "You stink. Change your perfume into something more decent, then maybe someone will bat an eye as disgusting as you. You're ruining everybody's day."
The woman felt dejected by the prince's remarks but swallowed her pride to avoid getting fired. Before Prince William followed his father, he slightly turned his back then faced Gilbert.
"Gilbert, please make sure she learned her lesson." He commanded.
Gilbert bowed as he heeded to Prince William's request and went to instruct one of the guards on what to do to her. The guards took the woman away whereas the personal secretary quickly followed the two royals behind them.
Prince William felt satisfied upon seeing the woman pleading and shaming herself. It reduces his intent to kill her on the spot which he was able to refrain himself due to the people around them. He looked at the Emperor, feeling proud for what his father did to that woman.
The two royals welcomed themselves inside the grand duke's office, Prince William saw his little brother with his uncle, concentrating as his both eyes beamed red. He then realized that Grand Duke Arthur and Prince Nikolai were in the middle of training his detection ability, which he and his father decided not to disturbed them yet.
However, Prince Nikolai and Grand Duke Arthur were cut off when they noticed the presence of the two. Prince Nikolai then told his uncle with an unreadable expression, "I told you that it was them."
His uncle quickly defended expressionlessly as he shoved his hand on the pocket, "I never said I doubted you, though."
The grand duke immediately noticed the protruding aura his first nephew, Prince William, is displaying. He closed his eyes and said, "Seems like someone is having a bad day."
He then stared at his first nephew while Prince Nikolai followed his uncle's eyes then it landed on his big brother while the Emperor and the rest of the people around them all stared at the first prince. Prince William realized it as well, it made him look down and said.
"It's nothing. But Father has something to discuss with you, right Father?"
He looked at the emperor, reminding him of the deal they made back then which Emperor Charles nodded in agreement. Grand Duke Arthur seems not to get the idea of what his first nephew was referring to. So, he stared at Emperor Charles and so did his brother, while using his mind-telepathy, he was able to convey the message about the sudden attack of the fox-masked man then the Grand Duke nodded in agreement.
Prince Nikolai felt a sudden bewilderment of what his family was talking about, he asked as he raised his eyebrow, "What are you guys talking about?"
However, none of them answered his question. Instead, Prince William went near Prince Nikolai and rested his arm onto his little brother's shoulder then said.
"Come with me. You'll have to accompany me. How about shopping?"
But then, the third prince refused to come with him, "I don't want to go shopping. Uncle Arthur still needs to help me master my ability."
"Let's go buy something you want." The first prince offered while struggling to get his little brother out of the office.
Prince Nikolai rebounded between his curiosity and wants, even so, his curiosity won the battle as he said, "W-what?! No!"
Prince William still insisted, "Just come."
Prince Nikolai felt dejected and out of place which he pouted in complaining, "You guys are keeping something from me."
Prince William then vaguely reasoned before things got out of hand, "It's not for you to know yet."
"It is! Uncle help me."
Prince Nikolai had even more reason for not going anywhere; he struggled and asked his uncle's help with pleading eyes. Yet, Grand Duke Arthur just stared at Prince Nikolai as he waves at them.
The third prince felt betrayed while the eldest prince waved back to his uncle, "Let's go, little brother," he said without looking at Prince Nikolai. The little brother continued to struggle while demanding him to let him go but found that it was hopeless.
Prince William met his father's gaze with the seriousness of his face and took the chance to remind his father, "You promised."
Emperor Charles glanced and nodded in response to his son's reminder then faced his brother. Prince William took Prince Nikolai out of their uncle's office while Kalios and Gilbert greeted each other then followed the young princes along with some royal guards. The grand duke immediately opened the topic when they were out of their sight.
"So?" he asked.
The emperor sighed in disappointment and replied, "Looks like we can't keep the entertainment for long."
His brother looked at him with confusion as he wondered why. Emperor Charles calmly explained the situation that had happened before arriving at the company and how Prince William found out about the fox-masked man. Grand Duke Arthur wanted to offer his chair to his brother but the Emperor refused and went to sit on the couch.
The grand duke went to sit opposite to his brother as the emperor added, "I thought he was just like our enemies from before. A talented one yet not enough to surprise us."
Grand Duke Arthur seized the opportunity to ask his brother again, "But?"
"But I think he will be a bigger problem for us in the future." Emperor Charles answered his question as he rested his back on the backrest of the couch.
Grand Duke Arthur immediately affirmed his brother, "I'll do what I can to seize him."
His brother thanked him and offered that he'll do his part as well. The two Adonis went silent, thinking of a possible solution of how to capture the fox-masked man. The Grand Duke noticed about the second encounter his brother had with that man.
"May I ask?" He asked.
Emperor Charles, who had been rubbing his temples, asked him back, "What is it?"
"How does he know everywhere you go?"
Grand Duke Arthur wasn't so sure if his hypothesis was right. But he also can't assume that he wasn't, so he thought of a possible measure of his guess that he could either be from the other clan or a rogue from their clan. Or perhaps someone related to the Forbidden Venom. When the emperor didn't know how, all he could think of was one thing.
"He must be someone with the ability to detect us. A rogue? If my guess is right." He said as he continued rubbing his temples.
Both of them were silent again as they tried to figure out the situation. Grand Duke Arthur debated his plan; however, he knew that the success rate of his plan was more that 50%. It made him grin that his brother took notice of it and assumed that he found a solution.
Emperor Charles straightened his posture as he leaned his side temple on his index finger's knuckles and asked, "So? What's the plan?"
