The man and his helper vanished into the air. A holographic timer was seen where he once was. After his departure, everyone began to test what their power did. The room was filled with bright flames, thorns manifesting themselves from the ground, and lighting being conjured from thin air. Orien watched it all in awe.
' I feel like belong here,' he thought. As he was about to use divine eyes, the sudden memory of all the pain it caused resurfaced in his head. Tears stained his cheeks and his knees wobbled.
People around him looked dumbfounded at the young man crying and stumbling backward into a girl.
" What's wrong with you?"
" I am sorry. I didn't mean to."
The girl turned around and they both locked eyes.
' She's breathe-taking.' Silver, long layed hair almost fully covers a fine, slightly pink pale face. Her amber eyes had a beautiful sparkle. She also had seductive pinks lips and a voluptuous body. It was not just Orien who noticed her beauty. Almost every man in the room's jaws was dropped at her appearance.
' He's hurting.' She saw a tall brown-skinned man with plump lips and short dreaded collarbone-length hair with one of them going down his face. His cheekbones were model-esque and his ruby red eyes were that of a man suffering.
"It's okay. What is your name?"
" Orien."
" I am Melissa Hanshaw. Do you want to partner up with me and my boyfriend? Ian said we should be safe if we stuck together."
Orien's face contorted slightly, trying his best to hide the jealousy he felt.
" I will pass but thanks for the offer. Due to my missing arm, I wouldn't want to be a hindrance to you two."
Orien walked away and then he suddenly stopped.
' My arm,' he thought. He immediately tried to use predatory healing. He put his right arm on what was left of his left, and a bright green light appeared. He could feel his body attempt to regenerate his arm but after waiting minutes, nothing happens. He held his head high, holding back his tears. He gave up on his arm and looked at what his divine eye's ability was.
Divine eyes- The ability to see through the body of others. Allows the user to see the sickness and damage in one's body. The ability to see through others' power. The ability to put others under illusions.The ability to see others' past. The ability to sense the flow of magic. The ability to predict others' movement. The ability to gauge the power of others. ' Doesn't this seem broken?' he thought.
Orien began to look at the people around him using his divine eyes. In his eyes, each of their bodies was distinct colors. There was a lot more grey than the other color. Melissa and her boyfriend were oranges. As he tried to sense their magic flow, he realized that theirs was stronger than his.
' I am guessing darker colors means they're stronger than me. lighter colors mean I am stronger than them, and grey means we're equal.
While he was lost in thought, the timer started making a noise as it counted down from ten. Everyone looked at each other nervously. The timer reached zero and the floor below them glowed a blinding light. When their eyes opened, they were in a forest with giant trees. The ground shook as the sound of hooves got closer. In their sight was a nine-foot-tall centaur in golden armor. It had a giant ax in one hand and a golden shield in the other. Orien used divine on the beast, and his body was the color of crimson red.
