The centaur moved at a ridiculous speed toward the participants despite its massive size. Everyone scattered by themselves while some ran away in groups. Orien stood there frozen in fear as the beast got closer and something abnormal happened. His eyes began to map out different paths using the same color system as his other ability. The path behind the centaur was dark red. The area surrounded by trees was green, and the open field behind him was grey.
' If the colors correspond with the ones before, green should be the safest. He immediately ran towards the trees. As he looked back, he saw a scene that made him gulp. The centaur had just hacked down a young boy.
' I'm getting tired. I need somewhere to rest.'
Orien ran until his lungs and legs couldn't take it. He stopped to gather his breath when the ground shook violently. He ran like his life depended on it. His feet became numb. His breaths became harsher. His speed slowed. The shaking stopped eventually, but the scream of a girl replaced it. Orien hid behind a tree while trying to not make any noises. He hid there, panting, trying to gather enough energy to move. He used divine eyes again and he could hear a river that he couldn't hear before.

He headed towards the sound of water. It was a lake surrounded by lush trees. The water was crystal clear. He quickly put his face in the water, drinking as much as he could. He came back above water with a satisfied look on his face and lay on the ground with all four limbs stretched in opposite directions. The fatigue from running had set in. He was about close his eyes when divine eyes boosted his hearing once more.
He heard the sound of footsteps to his right. When he looked in the direction, he showed a green color. He mustered the last bit of strength he had and grunted as he made his way toward them. After wondering for a while, he finally caught up but hid just to observe the people ahead. As they came closer, Orien made out who it was. It was melissa, her boyfriend and two other people.
He walked out from behind the tree and the party immediately turned in his direction with their power wielded defensively. Orien held his hand up above his head and said in a nervous tone, " I am an ally."
Everyone put their powers away, and they all met in the middle to introduce themselves.
" You've already met me. but this is my boyfriend, James. This is Alexander and his girlfriend Ella.
James was a tall European man with white, curly hair, and a handsomely chiseled face. Alexander was tall, and had blonde hair styled like a prince with great features. Ella was a beautiful woman with long light green hair, abyss black eyes, and a petite body with seductive curves. She doesn't lose to Melissa in looks at all.
They shook hands while discussing how they survived until this point.
" My eyes have carried me so far. That's how I found you guys."
"Your eyes are beautiful like rubies; what do they do? Ella asked.
" The list is too long to say, but they are the ultimate survival tool."
Alexander butted in immediately after watching his girlfriend stare into the eyes of the one-armed man.
" What are we gonna do about having shelter. It's not safe running around at night."
" Before we met you guys. James and I found a cave by the river James just came from. We only met you guys as we searched for food. We should head back there."
The group made their way towards the cave. James used fire magic to give the group light.
"I'll go out and get some sticks and leaves for some heat," Orien said.
When Orien comeback, the group sat around the makeshift bonfire, reminiscing on the slaughter they all saw.
