Milo spoke with Amarok, steady and calm, as he explained that in the end, there wasn't anything he could do for him. There was no medicine, concoction, potion, magic, that the elder doctor knew of, that would make Molaki stop from writhing in pain if he were to removed Asta from him.
Amarok rubbed his temples at the conundrum. It didn't really matter, the Tri didn't try to keep that many secrets from the pack, but there would be riots even from those who had accepted the doe if they learned that a deer was allowed to sit in on all of their closed door meetings. Any suspicions still held that Asta was a planted spy for the Okoltants would be proven correct.
