"What the hell?", Jasper said in surprise while Alessia dropped a glass of milk she was holding making Roman and Janet turn towards me. "I dig the hair it makes your chocolate skin come to life", Janet's comment made me smile. "Well thank you, you are officially my favourite person, i walked towards her and kissed her belly making her chuckle.
"She marked you?","Yes", "You know what that means right?", "Yap!", Stealth answered while cutting the cake. I had no idea what it meant but i didn't want to interfere in their conversation. "What is the big deal? don't you guys mark each other all the time?", i asked curiously making Janet nod and Alessia turn to me. "Well, it's normal until you are mated to the deadliest assassin in the world". I chocked on my juice, coughing furiously. "Janet rubbed my back while staring daggers at Alessia. "What? She knows that Tan is 'The Stealth' right?", she said making me nod my head. "What does that have to do with anything?", i asked making Alessia slam a hand on her face. What i was not stupid, i just didn't get it, sue me. "Look, the reason why Tan was able to remain under cover was because no one knew who he was but now, he has a scent, so if he goes on a mission he can be tracked by your scent so...", "Urgh, we are so stupid", i said angrily walking straight to the kitchen pulling Tan outside with me. "Cute face what's wrong? if it's the cake is swear i didn't eat the last piece Janet did", he said scratching the back of his head nervously. I mean come on, how can i be mad at this man, he is just so adorable and i was going to marry him. "Why did Hunter make me do it?", that got his serious side back. "What do you mean? did you not want to be mated to us?", "Of course that is what you would think about. Am talking about you having a scent now that people can trace, How can we fix that we will blow your cover!", as much as i tried to explain it he just kept a neutral face, it was kinda like the one he makes when he was trying to find the right thing to say. "We don't want to hide anymore", he said keeping his straight face. "What? but you said that you have enemies and that it's dangerous", i replied confused, this man was very complicated, how did i ever manage to keep up with him. Felt his hands pulling me in, holding me and his face went to the crook of my neck. "I don't want to be Stealth anymore, i just want to be the Head of the Royal Guards and if my past comes to haunt me then i will deal with it, i want to marry you and pop ten pups out of you, five boys and five girls all looking like their mother", what! this man is crazy i swear, i couldn't form a word i just ended up laughing. "Ooh you think am kidding huh?", that got my attention, "You can't be serious", he was kidding wasn't he? "Baby am not having ten kids", "Are you sure about that?", he said looking at my tummy, i swallowed hard. "Tan, baby, ten is alot of babies", "Am sure we can handle it", "You mean i can handle it, you will be working", i can't believe i was worried about talking babies with Tan only to end up defending how many kids were going to have or should i say pups. "No, we will take care of the kids together, i will be with you every step of the way", the way he said it made me feel like i could face anything. "Ok then, no more Stealth and cheers to having a the biggest vagina", the last one made him smirk, "Cute face, my V will be fine". He said pulling me to his muscular chest, his eyes sparkling blue, i know what those eyes mean even in my sleep and i was not about to have a session with him at the patio with our friends right in the living room. "Roman! SOS please", i screamed at the top of my lungs, which worked, Roman rushed out and scold him, he told him to stop being a horn dog which earned me a smirk, i was so going to get it.
We went grocery shopping and of course found a way to squeeze in Janet's cravings and the beers for the guys.
I made steak for everyone and to my surprise Tan took my three quarters of my steak as usual, earning a smack from Janet. She was cute and always defended me, Tan said it was because her pregnancy liked me. We were watching a movie when Janet started complaining about feeling uncomfortable, i suggested to go for a walk with her which she agreed to but the moment she stood up the floor was wet. "Babe! please tell me that is pee", Roman asked with shock. "Her water just broke, we need to go to the hospital", i said rushing to their room to get her a change of clothes and the labour bag, Tan and Roman rushed her to the car while Alessia and Jasper closed the lodge. Two hours later we were at the pack hospital waiting by the door while Roman and Janet disappeared in the maternity ward. We were so worried, Tan was pacing back and forth the waiting room, at least we had a private wing for the King. I ended up falling a sleep on the chairs. Tan woke me up at around five in the morning telling me that we had twins in the family. I rushed to the room and hugged Janet, who hugged me back smiling. "You scared the crap out of me", "Sorry, i guess they were ready to pop", she joked making me laugh. "Aunt Lola meet Liam and Lily", Roman's voice made me turn to meet the most beautiful babies ever, they were so chubby and adorable that a perfect replica of Roman and Janet. I want a baby.
