Chapter Four (4). Outcome.
"Reo-kun..." Emelia muttered through her gritted teeth as she tried to calm herself down. She felt bitter in her heart as she saw her beloved husband having dinner with another woman. It triggered the fear hidden inside her heart.
"What's this, Reo-kun?" Emelia glanced at the brown haired woman who sat opposite to her man. Her hand silently resting beside her hips rolled up into a fist.
Nails digging deep into her flesh, Emelia was unhappy.
After patting herself a few times to ease up her anger a bit, she looked at Reo and her eyes was filled with longing.
"Are you...Cheating on me?" Emelia interrogated her man as she walked towards their table.
The waiter wanted to stop her but he was rendered frozen.
"Reo-kun...Why? Haven't you promised me that you'll never have a concubine like the others? Promised me that you wouldn't interact with women other than me? Then, are you breaking your vows now that I wasn't here with you." Emelia questioned and took the knife placed on the trolley left near the table.
"Oh Reo, my dear. If you couldn't commit such promises then it was better to not uphold one at all. If you are uncertain then I shall tell you that I'm willing to eliminate rivals to ensure you are mine alone..."
"Care to explain?" Emelia asked hoping for an explanation.
Zane was immediately startled by the knife bearing woman who went closer to their table. As the newcomer was speaking a strange and odd language, she wasn't able to know the contents of the sentences spoken by the raven haired beauty.
"Look out!" Zane hurriedly pulled Reo out of his chair and was stunned. She couldn't pull him out of it. He was stuck.
Seeing the other woman's hand touch her husband's arms, Emelia bursted. "How dare you!" Her hand holding the knife hurriedly plunged towards the nun, but Reo who broke free from his daze, hastily knocked the knife away as he pulled Emelia to face him.
"You...,!"
"Emelia, you have greatly misunderstood the content of this dinner. I did not cheat on you, nor will I ever. I just wanted a free dinner and I only helped her to satisfy my curiosity. Nothing more nor less." Reo explained in a brisk motion, neither hurried nor slow.
Emelia slowly calmed down but still, she was not satisfied with his answers. "But she touched you, Reo-Kun. I can only be satiated if I kill her. You know how much your entire being means to me. You're mine. Mine!"
"But she doesn't have any ill-intentions like those women before, Emelia. Moreover, she's a nun." Reo said.
"A nun? Her occupation resembles those of a priestess and I don't believe she doesn't eat meat. How can I believe that no one would have any intentions upon seeing you? You entirely radiates a vibe that no woman can resist. How am I supposed to comply?" Emelia replied as she lowered her head and her eyes began to have tears dripping down.
Reo was flustered and he quickly wiped it off. "Emelia, don't...cry. I'm the one at fault, please punish me as you like but I have to prevent you from committing murder lest you might get captivated in prison."
"No!" Emelia flung his hands away in a fit of temper. "I want to kill her. I want to kill every women who wants you!"
Reo realized he couldn't stop his wife. The raven haired woman hurriedly took the knife back into her hands and embraced Reo tight in his neck.
"Hyaaaaa!" Zane screamed, and she fell into the ground while tightly stopping the bleeding from her neck.
Emelia waved her hand that was tainted with blood and showed a terrifying smile, she had slashed out at the other woman while the latter was in trance.
"!" The waiter witnessed such scene and his face went pale.
Reo who heard the scream lowered his head and sighed. His hand hugging back at his beloved who sat on his lap to embrace him.
Emelia calmed down but still restless so she threw her knife swiftly towards the bleeding woman's chest.
Zane's eyes widened in horror. Her life ended when the tip of the knife stabbed into her heart.
Seeing such an open murder, the waiter couldn't help but break down and scream. "AAHHHH! MURDER!!!"
Emelia rubbed her head on her husband's neck affectionately and took a quick glance at the terrified waiter. "You saw something you shouldn't have …"
Her lips pursued a frown when Reo abruptly covered her mouth. "Emelia, look at what you've done. This is considered to be against the law, how am I supposed to deal with this?" He said helplessly as he watched Emelia stare at him with dull eyes.
"Hmmp! You dared cheat, so I dare to kill!" Emelia angrily bellowed her husband and pinched his arm. Doesn't he realize how much he mattered to her and she had a restless heart? Emelia hated it when others were close to her husband.
"Emelia, please, peace." Reo was disturbed and he hurriedly began to soothe his wife's mood down. Thankfully there was not much of diners in this hidden restaurant so the problem was rendered simple.
"Don't worry." Emelia finally calmed down and gently whispered. Her eyes shaped half crescents as she took a small knife from the table.
The waiter realized her intentions and barked. "NO! NO! DON'T COME HERE! AHHH! MURDER! JEFF! THERES MURDER! CALL THE POLICE!"
Emelia didn't know what the waiter meant. To her, he was speaking a very unfamiliar language with a certain extent of strange accent.
Hearing the waiter's cry, the chef hurriedly ran out to save him.
She lightly chuckled and arched her body to face the two. "Don't worry, it's painless."
And another murder was done. A double murder.
Reo rubbed his brows and sighed in resignation. He was scolding himself for creating such disturbance due to communicating with a stranger. Now that he thought about it, he called the system in his mind and calmly asked it:
"Did you know such outcome would come?"
The system was silent for a while, [I warned you, Ransom-San! You just didn't comply!]
"…You warned me far too simply and unclear."
[...Oh.]
