After six whole days of boring cultivation, eating, and sleeping. The time for Carl to pick up his weapon had finally arrived.
"Carl where are you going? Aren't you going to wait for breakfast?" A short blue haired girl wearing white robes said with a frown as she glared at the back of Carl's head.
Carl stopped for a moment. Breakfast... but, a weapon is more important!
'Bah, who made that statement? I've already packed some breakfast in with me.' Carl thought as he stared at the silver ring on his finger, it was a 7th Grade Storage Space with over 3metres space for storing non-living items... only.
"Don't worry Xiu Fang. I've taken some food with me, I'll be okay." Carl said as he waved at the short girl before running off in a blink.
What was they're relationship? They were just friends... although Xiu Fang became a cultivator much more earlier than Carl, and was one of the people who protected him thinking he was 'weak'.
Carl smiled as he remembered the time Xiu Fang would beat up a bully for him... She was very kind to him despite his said weakness...
A true friend. Meh, after some time she was forced into closed door cultivation due to hitting a bottleneck and being unable to advance. She just reached the 3rd Mortal Grade three weeks ago.
Romantic relationship? He had considered, but ahem! That's all in the past. Maybe?
Carl ran to the blacksmith's shop with oil smeared on his face, why? Cough cough, it's not like he would eat while running right?
Forget it.
Carl knocked only once today before the door was opened by a little boy in cyan clothes. The boy bowed in respect before ushering Carl to Old man Wang's blacksmithing room.
Unlike last time, the blacksmith's looked relatively empty, with only a few people seen inside the shop. Each of them carrying out their various objectives.
"Here's my Master's room, I'll take my leave now." The young boy timidly spoke as he bowed to Lucas before dashing away.
Knock! Knock!
Carl knocked impatiently as his heartbeat began to accelerate...
Dun Dun! Dun Dun!
"Come in." Wang Xiao said from inside the room, his tone cheerful and jovial.
'Hmph, really sounds like a man who hit a major jackpot! I hope my weapon's good grandpa Wang!' Carl thought as he pushed open the door and stepped in with his eyes closed, and breath seized.
It's good that Wang wasn't a psychic, it was very very good.
Ha...
Carl opened his eyes and let out a deep breath, steeling his heart as he searched the room for any traces of his weapon. Even Jade gulped anxiously, barely able to compose herself.
"Here's your weapon," Wang Xiao waved his hands, the black ring on his index finger flashing with an ominous light as a spear began to materialise from thin air before him.
Carl's eyes nearly popped out of his skull after merely seeing half of the spear. This... This...
His eyes turned to shimmering stars as the parts of the spear continued to be revealed. Drool was already hanging at the edge of his lips by now.
Such intricate design... what wonderfully drawn runic patterns... such a smooth and sturdy looking material...
Finally the last part of the spear was revealed... A silver dragon head!
From the looks alone, this was above 4th Grade!
Before Carl could pounce on the blacksmith and take the spear, it vanished into thin air again. Wang Xiao had a smile on his face as he saw Carl's expression... money came knocking today.
"How much... tell me how much!" Carl spat without thinking. What garbage were his peers using as weapons? What trash was he envious of when he was a kid?
This is a true weapon which must be bought no matter what!
Steal it? I am a respected and honourable cultivator, do you think I have the heart to steal? Besides, I was about to 'borrow' it, but that sneaky fox had hid it quickly. Ahem!
Wang Xiao smiled before throwing a scroll into Carl's hands. His bright eyes unable to hide the profiteering light that flashed within.
Carl ripped apart the silver seal and opened the scroll without hesitation, his mouth dropping down soon after.

Carl was astounded beyond words. This was just too... OP!
2 internal fighting techniques! One super ability! High attack power and speed? 3rd Grade Spear!
1500 Gold Coins was more than half his life's savings, but in the face of power...
"This is too expensive, can't you reduce the price a little? Money doesn't drop from the sky." Carl barely managed to keep a straight face as he spoke. He had the money in his storage space, but was too 'generous' to give it out.
Wang Xiao shook his head before solemnly speaking to himself, loud enough for Carl to hear, "Hah, but it seems like if I put this for public sale, it'll sell for over 2000 Gold coins. This kid doesn't seem serious."
Carl's eyes twitched.
"1400." Carl decided. At least he'd keep some money.
"1450." Wang Xiao said with a smile on his face.
"1350... I had initially had only 1400, but you're been too greedy..." Carl had a pleading look on his face as he added, "Please can't I keep some money?"
Mental Strike Successful!
"1400 max. If you really don't have the money, scram!" Wang Xiao said decisively, thinking he had robbed a kid, but...
"Ok... although it's so... painful." Carl said as he brought out the pouch of jingling gold coins out of his storage space.
"Here is your spear, give me the money and I'll give you the spear." Wang Xiao said as he brought out the spear, a smile on his face.
"Ok..."
Before Carl could react his pouch of coins in his hands disappeared, but was replaced by something cold and smooth. Carl looked down to the silver spear in his hand with a brilliant ray of light shooting out of his eyes.
His weapon!
Without wasting time he put it in his storage space, bowed to Grand- Wang Xiao and disappeared after yelling out 'thanks'.
After walking out of the shop, Carl could no longer compose himself. As no one was in sight except an old begger by the roadside, he leaped up into the air while waving his fists.
Jade was shocked. He- he actually bought it...
"Okay, we've stalled the mission for far too long. Jade shouldn't we move at once?" Carl said happily as he stared at the spear in his storage with gleaming eyes.
"Yeah, let's just go right now. Hehe, no need to wait for tomorrow or have some preparation first." Jade said sarcastically in Carl's head.
"Hmm, you're right. We should go now!" Carl said, his thoughts shrouded by how he could single out all the imps with his spear.
"...I think you might come back alive if you remain so thick skinned. There's no need for any special armour to protect you." Jade said with a teasing tone.
"..."
