Carl ran back to the the Celestial Sect with a smile on his face. He ignored the gazes of everyone around as he bolted into the dome like building and ran up to his 'cultivation grounds'.
'I must test this new weapon! Hmm, then I can go visit father about the mission.' Carl thought as he dashed into his father's Frag- ahem! His cultivation grounds and shut the door behind him.
After seeing Carl shut the door, Jade excitedly shot out of the blue orb as she began to circle around him. The words 'come on, show me' were all over her face as she stared at Carl with an ecstatic glint in her eyes.
Carl rolled his eyes before waving his hands, bringing out the spear from his Storage Space with a smile.
The intricately designed spear body, silver dragon head, faintly glowing runic patterns... This is beauty!
Carl traced his hands across the spear's surface, causing the dull light of the runes to suddenly brighten up when his hands is above them, then fade away after his hands has passed.
Soul Signature!
This means that even if someone steals this spear, without the removal of my soul signature they cannot access it's absolute potential! Of course, Carl knew the weapon had a soul signature.
Swinging and thrusting the spear a couple of times, Carl was pleased by the lightness and smoothness of the slow. This allowed the spear to completely blend with his movement flow.
"Carl, can you spar with me for a minute? I'd like to see how strong that spear is. Heh heh." Jade asked as she coiled around Carl with her long body, giving him a little space for movement.
'Spar with a dragon?' Carl thought as he gave Jade a weird look. Did this dragon want to just turn him to toast or was she joking around?
What? Can't a human spar with a dragon?
Have you ever seen a dragon trying to throw a punch or kick? Especially those tanky western dragons who could turn you to minced meat with their weight alone.
"Cough cough, spar? Do you want to fight... like that?" Carl asked with his brows faintly raised. Maybe she had a special fighting style as a dragon?
"Like this? With your pitiful strength? Nah, I'm afraid I'd accidentally injure you during the fight. I was thinking of taking my humaniod form so the equation might be balanced." Jade said as she rested her bright blue head on her own body.
Humaniod form? Carl gave Jade an even weirder look as if saying. Where are you going to change here?
"Stop thinking like that you corrupted soul... but, that would be a problem. Hmm, don't you have any spare robes in the sect?" Jade asked as she suddenly lifted her head as if being enlightened before lazily back, "I don't like white."
"Pshh, I have silver robes in my storage... but where are you going to change?" Carl said as he waved his hands, emphasising the 'where' clearly.
This prompted Jade to lazily open her eyes and look around. There was nothing here but:
Trees, mountains, rivers, waterfall, grass, animals, trees again, and even more trees.
"Meh, I'll handle it. But you have to turn around." Jade said but after seeing Carl's brightening eyes had her eyes twitch, "So you won't be blinded by a dazzling blue light during my transformation."
Hearing that, all the righteous(perverted) thoughts Carl was having suddenly dispersed into the wind, leaving him blankly staring at the dragon's face before turning around and throwing out a silver robe from his Storage Space.
Before he could react, the robes were drawn back in a flash leaving Carl to awkwardly stare at the door. Somehow he was hearing a voice urging him to turn back and take a slight peek.
Voice : 'One, just one peek wouldn't hurt right?'
Carl : 'Get behind me Satan! I'd never do such a dishonourable act!'
'Not when I have a high chance of getting literally blinded... ahem!'
Suddenly a bright blue light engulfed Carl's surroundings, making him squint his eyes as he placed his hands before his face. What the hell is this?
This... is... a weapon!
Now I've finally acquired the perfect flash bomb! Just throw her into the tigers lair right before her transformation, and permanently blind them forever. Superb trump card, haha!
What if she gets killed? Nonsense, she's a dragon! Even my father would be serious when battling her! Take her down in the midst of transformation... naive!
After three seconds, the bright light slowly dispersed as Carl let out a tired sigh. Should he say thanks for the warning? No, that'll reveal his perve- righteous thoughts!
"Cough cough, I'm done.". A familiar voice was heard from behind Carl, making his eyes shine.
He heard a voice- and it wasn't telepathic! Praise the creator! My dragon beast has the ability to turn human!
Carl turned around in a flash, only to have blood spurt out of his nose. He could feel his heart beating as he slowly gulped inaudibly.
How come a dragon has such a massive chest... F*ck me, are her blue eyes glowing? Look at those curves, that slender waist...
'She might have no interest in humans...'
The thought struck Carl like a hammer to head, making his eyes to turn to stars as he went into a daze. Did the light blind him into a dream?
"Carl?" Jade said with her brows raised and her hands akimbo. Look at that perverted look, this kid...
"Cough cough!" Carl coughed with all his might, almost coughing up his organs in the process as he composed himself. "Why do you look so good in a robe?"
'I feeling like my little brother is aching...' Of course, Carl didn't dare say that out loud. Or that would be enough for him to be smashed into the 9th Layer Of Hell.
"Hmm, really?" Jade's eyes sparkled, but dimmed the next moment, "If it'll attract too much attention, then I'll have to shapeshift into another human form."
"Nah it's fine..." Carl said as he let out a sigh before twirling his spear and taking a stance. "Now come."
"Hehe, that's funny. I wanted to say the same to you." Jade asked her her glowing azure eyes suddenly narrowed down into slits, with strange runes appearing on her forehead.
Boom!
Carl leaped to the side evading the massive gust of air that was shot at him, his eyes flashed brilliantly as the atmosphere suddenly turned cold.
A feint!
Jade smiled softly as she stared at Carl who fell for her test. Her eyes flashed as like a bolt of lightning, she dashed towards Carl.
Carl's scalp turned numb. Somehow he knew that the strike coming wouldn't taste good to eat.
Whoosh!
Tilting his head to the side, Carl narrowly dodged a deadly blue cone of energy shot out of Jade's fist as his eyes turned cold. That was too close!
Jade who had fired the energy cone couldn't help, but smirk. This guy thinks this is a joke... he should take me more seriously!
No chance for mistakes! Have to suppress her or she'd follow up with even more deadly strikes!
Carl suddenly tightened his grip on his spear as he spun around, smashing the spear's against Jade's ribs.
Jade was blown away to the side by the brute force from the strike. Her 'flight' was suddenly halted by her back smashing against a couple of trees.
'Sh*t, that spear! I must be careful not to be hit by it again...' Jade cursed as she punched the earth, standing up soon after with a smile on her face.
"Are you okay?" Carl asked curiously. He had used a very high amount of power in that attack... did he break more than three ribs?
"I'm fine. A dragon's revitalisation speed is great so I'm good enough to continue... although my sides are still hurting slightly." Jade said as her smile turned wry, with caution visible in her eyes.
Did she want to eat another one of that kind of attack? Of course not!
Carl heaved a sigh of relief. There are more bones to break- ahem!
Before Carl could adjust his stance, Jade came hurtling towards him like a bullet. The single movement suddenly covered up the distance between them, bringing it to a melee brawl.
Jade was raining relentless attacks upon Carl who passively used his spear to defend. The bright blue sparks from their encounter lighting up the vast mountain range.
After three more minutes of exchanging blows, Carl finally saw an opening. His eyes flashed ferociously as his muscles tightened.
Demon Slaying Azure Dragon Fist!
Jade frowned as if she could see the difficulty upping: +1 +1 +1 +1
'I must counter it!'
Sea Dragon's Energy Blast!
Jade threw out a punch, shooting out a bright azure mini-sized dragon made out of pure energy which was just 10metres long at Carl.
Hum~
Hum~
Two massive techniques were used, causing the entire world except the Carl and Jade to gray out as their energies surged wildly.
A strike to determine winner or loser, a strike to determine true strength of techniques between man and beast...
Boom!
Both of them smiled as their energies collided, the massive explosion burning the grass all around them to coal as some tree were blasted to splinters.
Carl and Jade...
Who won?
