I turned back around and replied with a small smirk. "I do not care. You can leave if you want and never threaten me in your miserable existence." I was enraged by the fact that she tried to manipulate me and even more angry that she thought it would work.
Kara barked back. "I regret ever following you. I should have let Marius kill you."
I shrugged. "Maybe you should have. But I a sorry. I can't tell you what you want, not now."
Kara responded by attacking me with her magic. She boiled my brain, and I fell, clutching my head from all the headache she brought down on me. She strolled towards me, waving her hands as the intensity of the headache increased as she willed it.
I screamed and begged. "Please! Stop. I am sorry." But, my plea fell on deaf ears. Instead, she chose to use that moment to plead her case.
