Music recommendation: Lovely by Billie Eilish ft. Khalid
She turned to Dawin. He was laying underneath Emma, helplessly. Blood from his lips and nose stained his uniform. He received every blow without countering or dodging it and most annoyingly, his face held a grin. Fuel to the fire. Like he was begging for more of what Emma was giving him. God!.
Some students were now hitting their cutleries against their glass cups, cheering Emma more. Songs having his name filled the room.
Emma's blow became intensive. She was now screaming at the top of her lungs but her voice only mixed with the songs, the beating of cups, and the hitting of tables. The grin still fitted on Dawin's face.
If not for Dawin's royal blood which had the power of gold, the strength of gold. It's invincibility that could take every hit and remain strong, Dawin was sure to have been dead or unconscious a long time ago.
She forgot Dawin was the one that started all of it and was getting angrier at Emma for every passing minute. He was not ready to stop as he kept up with his pace, obdurate on inflicting injuries on Dawin or if not sending him out of this world. Why was no one doing anything?. Even the so-called fan of Dawin that stopped her earlier did not look like one to get involved in their fight. It ached her that no one was ready to do anything. His friends, Emma's friends just sat on their seats, indifferently, not holding Emma back.
' Emma, stop that at this moment '. The voice of the Principal resounded in the hall as the noise had died down and everyone was now scrambling their way back to their seats. Even the counterwomen resumed their duties.
Relief washed Diva's face as she saw the Principal with the Vice-Principal, their Fitness, Mathematics, Physics, and that female teacher that was the detention mistress.
Even though she had told Emma to stop, she still ordered the Mathematics and Physics teachers to seize him. Her glasses did nothing to hide her red balls which had reddened out of fury. From the school constitution book that was handed to her, Emma, and Dawin too, since he was the one to stir the fight, had broken a major rule and of course, it was punishable.
' Dawin and Emma in my office '. The Principal's order came out blunt yet forceful. Diva watched Emma as he dusted his uniform, adjusted his sleeve and jacket, and moved to follow the Principal. Dawin was aided up from the ground and to his feet. He declined the offer of the Physics teacher to help him walk and walked on his own, following the Principal.
' And you too, Miss Conrad '. Her jaw dropped at the Principal's order. What?. How?. She has not been involved in the fight. She was only shouting for help for her friend.
' Ma, there must be a mistake. I was.... '.
' Another word from you, Miss Conrad, and your punishment will be doubled '. Her jaw almost reached the floor. Wait!. What?. Punishment?. There must be a serious misunderstanding as she only stood close to her table. Her mouth refused to utter the objecting thoughts that now filled her head. Certainly, a doubled punishment was not a good idea. She dragged her feet to follow the Principal, undiluted anger and fury glimmered in her eyes.
She was right after the Principal with the boys behind her. They are walking almost close to each other. Dawin still had his grin, Emma, his enraged eyes as they walked almost colliding with other.
