"Are you feeling better after eating?" Ryan softly laughed when he saw Lily finish her food. Now he looked at Lily, who was watching a broadcast about the lives in the coldest city in the world, Yakutsk, Rusia.
Lily shrugged. "Not really. I still feel horrible. I don't deserve Matthew's forgiveness, right? Maybe he doesn't want to forgive me too."
Ryan rubbed Lily's back. "I'm sure Matthew doesn't want your relationship to end either."
Lily took a deep breath. "Last night, he said he wanted to go. He must be gone by now."
"If you were meant to be together, you would be together again," Ryan said. He swallowed his saliva after finishing his sentence for Lily. For some reason, Ryan felt bitterness when he said those words. Ryan felt what he said was the opposite of what he wanted.
Lily's eyes stared straight at the television in front of her. "Humans are truly extraordinary. They can adapt to extreme weather like in Yakutsk."
