Arriving at the apartment, Alona immediately took Lily to the bathroom. Alona helped Lily to take off the dress she was wearing. After Alona took off Lily's skirt, Lily immediately went into the bath. Alona sat on the tub's edge and could only take a deep breath when she saw Lily hugging her legs.
Alona squeezed Lily's shoulder. "Now, I won't bother you if you want to cry."
Lily lowered her head until it touched her knees. Slowly she began to sob. Sitting on the bathtub's edge, Alona could only pat Lily's shoulder. She took a deep breath. "You made a mistake that's hard to fix, Lily."
"I know," Lily said between sobs. She then turned to Alona. "You can leave me alone. I want to be alone."
Alona patted Lily's shoulder. "If you need anything, I'm outside."
