After dropping Lily off at her office, Matthew immediately rushed to the airport. Then he flew back to Barcelona. Meanwhile, Lily directly called Ryan because she was worried about his shoulder. Lily saw Ryan seemed to be enduring the pain as Matthew squeezed his shoulder.
Lily chuckled because, until the last ring, Ryan didn't answer the phone. She then contacted him again. This time, Ryan answered Lily's phone call in an icy tone. "Has your lover returned to Barcelona?"
"Is your shoulder okay?" Lily asked Ryan back.
Ryan laughed softly. "The pain in my shoulder is nothing compared to the other pains I feel."
"We realize that our love story wasn't easy when we decided to be together from the beginning, do we?" said Lily.
"From the start, nothing was easy. Especially for me," said Ryan. Then he took a deep breath and laughed softly.
"Do you want me to accompany you to the hospital to check your shoulder?" asked Lily.
