"Gabriela. What is so funny? Do you think I'm making a joke?" Gabriela asked Matthew.
Matthew nodded his head with a chuckle. "Don't you know there's such a thing as perfume? Some perfumes, especially perfumes for men, sometimes smell like plants that are wet with water. For me, perfume like that makes women very comfortable near me. And you—"
Matthew shook his head. "You think I'm a vampire just because of my scent? Are you kidding?"
