"You're awake?" asked Matthew. He had just finished changing, returned to his room, and went straight to Lily, who was still reading on the bed.
Lily shook her head.
"What are you reading?" Matthew asked again.
Lily raised the title of the book she was reading.
"I don't think you need a novel to help you feel what it's like to have a vampire lover." Matthew laughed when he saw the title of the book Lily was reading.
Lily chuckled. She then turned her attention from the novel she was reading to Matthew sitting beside her. Lily took one of Matthew's hands and then shuffled and leaned against Matthew's body.
"I don't think you need a shower, Matt. Your scent is already very tempting even if you don't take a shower," Lily said. "Your scent is different from normal humans."
"Is that true?" Matthew asked in disbelief.
