Lily with Matthew and the others spent time together after dinner served by Jackson. The woman introduced two men who would accompany Lily and the others on their journey to England.
"Are they also vampires?" Lily asked, whispering to Jackson.
Jackson laughed after hearing Lily's question. She then shakes her head. "No, they are ordinary humans like you. But their family has served me for generations."
"So they know you're a vampire?" Lily asked Jackson again.
Jackson nodded his head. She then looked at the two brothers she had introduced to Lily and the others. "Zhang Wei and Wang Wei, their ancestors were not lucky people. But they are good people. They helped me when the villagers tortured me and almost killed me. After that, I promise to make their lives and their generations to come to live well."
