Chapter 5 - Chpt 5 Sword Heart

As I assisted Elder Mo with testing the people who wishes to become disciples I also scanned the crowd for talents

/Ha Nul/

/strength talent lvl 1/

I looked at the boy who walked up to the podium and placed his hand on a testing crystal, he had a muscular body despite being only 11 years old at most

When he placed his hand on the crystal it glowed a faint red which indicated that he had minor talent in physical strength

"congratulations! It seems you can become an outer disciple if you train hard!"

Is said as I shook his hand vigorously before Elder Mo could speak, he was given a servant disciple token and if he trained well he may be able to become an outer disciple

For the rest of the day I congratulated all those who had been lucky to have been born with talent until around evening when the test was almost done for the day that a boy with Black hair and black eyes stepped onto the podium as the last disciple for the day

/Lin Fan/

/Sword heart lvl 4/

The crystal glowed in a blue hue slightly brighter than the other servant disciples, when I saw this I patted him on the back and congratulated him

By this time I had become almost famous for my friendliness and kindness despite being an inner disciple

Most inner disciples were prejudiced against the servant and outer disciples as they usually came from poor families, but even so inner disciples didn't bother the outer disciples as they knew that the outer disciples usually had talent and were a tough prey to bully, so much couldn't be said for servant disciples

Talents copied: ..., strength lvl 2 (56%), agility lvl 2 (24%), stamina lvl 3 (12%), comprehension lvl 1 (45%), Sword heart lvl 4 (0%)/

When I returned in the evening to my room I studied all the talents I had gained during the day

Agility and stamina were self explanatory as they were the same as my strengths talent and made it so I could train in those directions faster and more efficiently than without those talents

Comprehension helped with learning martial arts and mastering techniques faster

Sword heart on the other hand was different, very few people had this kind of talent and even the test crystal had only shown that he was talented in the direction of comprehension

Sword heart was a talent which every swordsman dreams of, with this talent practice in the way of the sword was like like drinking water, sword arts could be learned after a few glances and breakthroughs in comprehension of sword arts were like cutting grass

Those with a sword heart talent lived and breathed swords and could find flaws in in enemy's sword techniques in the middle of combat

Of course as there was the sword heart talent there was a similar talent for all weapons or even bare handed

"I'll ask a few other elders for advice on which technique to chose"
