Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: The Satans.

While the De Vils were having an emotional reunion, the supernatural world was in chaos, due to the aura.

The aura slowly started to recede as Aatrox got his power under control, and as the aura disappeared completely the four great satans arrived at the boundary of the forest of the Shadow Clan, most commonly known as Zion, the hidden paradise.

However, the satans didn't dare enter further into the territory. After all who would want to anger the clan that is known to have the biggest information network in the world, and has the Shadow Emperor and the Empress of thousand and one spells.

But even if they were hesitant in entering their territory they still had their pride as the strongest of devil kind, so they released some of their aura to inform of their arrival to the leaders of the clan.

Back to our reunion, the aura of the four great satans was clearly felt by the residents of the room, and not only them but it was also felt by all the residents that were moving around in the castle-city and were clearly happy about the awakening of their young lord, after his years of sleep.

Now there are many ways people who haven't seen war in their lifetime might react to a situation when a group of powerful individuals comes knocking at their door without any forewarning, they would either start screaming and begging for their lives; or start screaming and running around like a headless chicken; or start screaming and lose control of their bladder and sphincter. Even the devils are no exception to this.

But the situation in the Shadowlands was…different. The residents neither screamed, begged, run, nor wet their legs, but started to stare in the direction the four great satans were and started to unsheathe their weapons which had miraculously appeared in their hands, all this done without a single hint of nervousness or fear on their face.

All of the people in the castle city were ready to kill on moments notice.

But thankfully the situation didn't descend into a war, as the leaders of the territory, Skygge, and Adeline flew out of the castle and informed their people that it was nothing serious, and they shouldn't worry about it, and return back to their work.

After saying their words the two leaders disappeared from the spot in a flash of light.

Inside Aatrox's room, after the boy's grandparents had left in a silent rage, on being interrupted in their reunion with their one only grandchild.

Aatrox stared in the direction of the open window through which his grandparents had left to check on what the satans wanted with them.

Now the reason they didn't even think that they must have come was due to the aura that was released by Aatrox during his awakening was because the aura was very familiar to them as they had felt it when Aatrox was a baby, but they didn't know that the aura had grown stronger and spread all around the world, and was the reason for the unexpected visitation of the four great satans.

While his grandparents had left, Aatrox just showed a tired smile and said, "At least the new satans have a good head on their shoulder as compared to the originals."

"Once you meet them you might have to retract your statement," Grayfia answered in her monotonous tone.

Aatrox didn't say anything and just hummed in response. That was until Grayfia realized that it was impossible for Aatrox to know that there are new four great satans, as he was asleep during that time.

Her eyes widened as she came to that realization, and she stared at Aatrox like she was deer in the headlight.

"How do you know that we have new four great satans?"

Her question was only met by a mischievous smile from the boy and the words.

"That's a long story."

While the silver maid was having a deeply confusing moment. The two old monsters had reached the location where the four great satans were present.

The two sides just kept staring at each other, trying to gauge the other side's reaction or secrets, anything that may tell them something about the other.

"So…what brings the four satans to our lovely home?" – Adeline asked with an innocent smile, that said that you better have a good reason for disturbing us.

"We are here to find the source of the disturbance that enveloped the underworld, do you know anything about it?" – Ajuka Beelzebub, was the first one to broach the subject.

Although both Skygge and Adeline had no idea about the heads the aura released by Aatrox had turned, they both were first-generation devils and had lived for countless years, and still had their wits in hand, so they were quickly able to figure out what Ajuka was hinting at.

"It may have been unexpected aftermath of the new spell that has been created by my Adeline. Accidents happen after all." – Skygge replied, ending the need for further investigation by the four satans.

"Is that the truth?" – asked the satan Lucifer.

"Would you like to see it yourself, Satan Lucifer?" – Skygge quipped back reminding the boy, he would have to deal with the aftermath of the demonstration.

"…No" – Sirzech could only back out of the conversation.

"Then it seems we are done here, aren't we?" – It was less of a question and more of a statement by Adeline, which the four satans could only nod their head at it.

The two devils disappeared in a flash of light hurrying towards their grandchild. Leaving the four great satans to show themselves out.

"Phew… that was a tiring talk. Huh." – The busty loli, Serafall said once the duo had left.

"You didn't even talk." – Deadpanned the Satan Lucifer.

"Hey, it's not my fault that I couldn't say anything, those two always take control of the conversation and do talking at their own pace." – Serafall replied back.

"Well you are not wrong about their pace and control." – Ajuka agreed with Serafall. To which Serafall puffed out her chest like she did something great.

"Can we go now? There is a nice warm couch waiting for me to lie on it." – Falbium chipped in.

"How can you be so lazy and still complete all your paperwork?" – Sirzech asked curiously.

Only to be received by a shrug from the lazy bald.

"Can you teach me?" – Sirzech asked, or more like pleaded.

But Falbium just turned away and disappeared from the spot.

"Hey! You didn't answer my question." – Sirzech followed after him.

"You guys are so annoying." – Ajuka followed them.

"Hey! You guys should come to watch me film the next episode of 'Magical Girl Leviathan." – Serafall rushed after her friends.

Leaving the area in silence with the occasional rustling of leaves, and no one to know about the conversation that just happened.

Deep underground, in an almost empty room whose every inch was covered in intricate ruins. Stood 12 crystal statues so life-like that one may confuse them with actual living breathing beings, and the only indication of them being statue was their lack of breathing, making it seem like they were in eternal sleep.

Suddenly one of the statue's eyes opened and a crazy smile was seen on the statue with a clear sound of crystal cracking.
