'Alright! It's cultivation time!'
Blake sat cross-legged on the floor. His body was facing the east. His breathing slowed down, his body loosened up and his mind slowly turned blank. Soon, Blake entered a state of pure tranquility. The noises outside have all been shut out of him.
Blake was now sitting cross-legged in a world of absolute whiteness, his eyes were filled with a fiery determination to get stronger.
'Whoosh! Whoosh!!'
The sound of water could be heard, rushing towards his direction. Of course ,it looked like water...But, the color of water is not supposed to be indigo. This wasn't water, instead it was the Mana within Blake's body.
The mana stream was rushing towards Blake in an eager manner. When the mana stream was about to crash into Blake, something peculiar happened. Instead of directly crashing into Blake, the mana stream slowly circled Blake, forming a small mana twister with Blake as the core of it. Then, streaks of blue light shot out of Blake, slowly fusing with the mana twister and turning it bluish purple.
After a while, the bluish purple twister grew by another meter tall.
Now rocking with a great 3 meter tall mana twister, Blake closed his eyes as his body started to glow red. The red energy doesn't seem to go well with the bluish purple mana twister around Blake, often causing energy sparks to randomly fly off out of his body. Of course, thanks to the present defensive array in the living room, these sparks didn't damage anything within the house.
Soon, the red aura around Blake became incredibly dense, encapsulating the original bluish purple Mana twister. By then, the twister had already grown another 2 meters in height. It was 5 meters now!
By the way, that red stuff is called Martial Qi. It's like Spiritual Energy but it's not. It's only usable for people who have an affinity with the Martial Laws which was also interconnected with the Magic Laws. The very same laws that the Creator of True Gods' Domain made to reduce the number of mortals ascending per generation.
Once a person has a deep enough understanding of these two laws, that person is then eligible to absorb and cultivate Heavenly Energy, whilst also further dwelling into the deep depths of the Transcendent Laws of Heaven or, we could just say the Heavenly Dao.
Now if you're really blessed by the heavens, you might even be able to ascend to godhood. And yes, I'm talking about the normal Heavenly Gods and Dao Venerates, not True Gods though, that's a whole other breed of being lucky.
The twister then rotated faster and faster by the second.
1 minute had passed by.
His mana martial twister had already reached an incredible height of 8 meters in total! The color of the twister had also changed into a deep purple with strands of whiteness. It seems Blake had successfully fused his martial qi and mana together, producing an incredibly pure vortex of magic martial energy. This was considered an incredible feat for most Magic Martial cultivators. It's even more spectacular for cultivators who are only at the Magic Practitioner stages.
Then again for Blake, this was to be expected since he had acquired an insane amount of knowledge from his past life while also possessing a deep understanding of the Martial and Magic Laws.
Within Blake's mind:
'Wow, I can't believe I've improved that much from just the integrating and fusion of my body's Mana with the Martial Qi hidden within my soul! Oh, thank the Heavens my 'Teacher' decided to keep both of my Magic and Martial cores, even if they're only fragments left! Now, with these two energies finally stabilizing with one another, I'll be able to increase the efficiency of my cultivation by at least twofold ! HAHAHA~!'
The next morning...
'Aha! I have finally broken through to the next level! Magic Practitioner III!!! Eh, no...wait a minute...Is the Heavens playing a prank on me?!?! There's no freaking way...I've broken through to the 4th level of Magic Practitioner?!?!'
Indeed just within a couple hours of meditating, Blake had broken all common sense of his world and made a double breakthrough into Magic Practitioner IV. Now, you all may think that Blake himself, as reincarnated Magic Saint, had no common sense to begin with...But, within Blake's view, breaking through 2 levels within a span no more than half a day had already surpassed the Laws of the Magic Dao and Martial Dao. So yes, his common sense was at least a world apart from mortal views, but he still had them.
'I can't believe this! I've really broken through!! This is awesome!!!'
The smile on Blake's face was growing wider by the minute.
'Oh man! Since I've broken through twice, that means my mana reserves have increased twofold as well. Ohohoho~! I've profited incredibly this time! Now, let me see what skills I have unlocked!'
