"Sia what is school like" I said looking at Alessia.
"Well its kinda boring, I hate the fact that I can only come home once a month for 2 days. I feel like your growing up so fast." She said lifting me up "Your so light Nix, have you been eating, your getting so thin".
"You sound like a grandma" I said
"That's because she is a grandma" Asmin said

Asmin looked around and stole me out of Alessia hands. Present time
I've come to the conclusion that my brother is crazy, but I can't blame him, I'm really skinny it worries mum and dad, plus I struggle to eat food. In my old life I didn't really eat, so now I struggle to eat much. Asmin helps me out of the cupboard carefully. "Where's Kai?" I asked. Kai has been my brother friend since my brother was 7, however he refuses to introduce us.
"You don't need to know that" He said coldly.
"But, he's bringing his younger sister she just turned 4. Please I haven't met anyone outside the family."
"That's because you must be protected as the Child of the Sun. What would you do if you were taken by the dark forces", Dark forces they were never mentioned in the novel. Now that I think about it, isn't strange that Phoenix wasn't killed and was the only survivor, I never finished the novel, maybe the Dark forces where mentioned there, plus the story was strictly told from Charlotte POV. I gave Asmin the puppy dog eyes, "Fine you can meet him, and say Hi, you can also see his sister he's bringing her here today. Seeing as you've been going on about meeting her". I garb my brother hand running through the castle to the front door. "Slow down, Nix, what if you fall and hurt yourself, here let me carry you" My brother lifted me onto his shoulders, I feel like he treats me like a porcelain doll. I saw two people waiting at the door, the boy looked 8 years old with white hair, and dark purple eyes, the little girl had white hair too with light blue eyes. The little girl hid behind her brother. Whilst he looked me dead in my eyes.
Kai POV
Wow she's beautiful Asmin told me she was like a flower but that's an understatement, her eyes are like fire, two balls of fire, roaring fire. I can usually read peoples minds, however hers was a blank slate it was complete silence. "You won't be able to read her mind Kai. You're nowhere strong enough".
"Whatever. By the way are you sure you're related sees way prettier than you" I said, however she kept looking at me. "Also your sister is so tiny. My sister just turned 4 and looks bigger than her."
"She been sick" He said looking down. Know I feel bad. He places her on the floor off his shoulders, she cut her eyes at me and walked towards my sister who was hugging my side. She took her arm.
"Lets go play" her voice was sweet warm, like honey.
"Your voice is so high pitch, Imma call you birdy"
"And imma call you Dick" she said looking annoyed, her gaze was almost burning. I don't know why but annoying her seems fun. Asmin started laughing, looking almost proud.
Phoenix POV
I thought he was cute, but now I realise he's a complete arsehole.
"Lets go little girl. I can show you some cool stuff" I said when I started running away with her, she looked so happy. Her blue eyes were gleaming at me, she looked so happy. I was excited to see a girl around my own age, I had been sheltered since I was born and not maybe people know I was even born. This could also explain how I survive the assassination attempt. We were playing for about 2 hours, I feel like we could be best friend, she's sweet. "Wait I haven't introduced myself. My name is Phoenix, but everyone calls me Nix or Nixy."
"I like Nixy. My, my name is Charlotte, but you can call me C. You are now my best friend. Forever. You can't have anymore friends now. Okay" I can tell she's just turned 4, its kinda funny, she just said her name was Charlotte, but I have a feeling its a different Charlotte they don't meet until Phoenix turned 20 so there's no way its her. Right?
