The more and more I hang out with Charlotte, the more I believe she's the female lead. She's just too loveable, she so cute although she's taller than me. We've been hanging around each other for a week now, her and Kai come everyday. Sadly I can't disclose that I'm the reincarnation of the Phoenix spirit. Father says that its for my safety. There's 4 problems with being this powerful. Problem one: Night creatures want to kill me to bring over a dark age, his the phoenix spirit is kill the Sun abandons the planet. Problem two: Night creatures wish to kidnap me to absorb my energy because I'm a constant battery source. Problem three the moon spirit wants to drain my energy to make more Night creature. Problem four the human would lock me away due to fear of my power and fear of me dying. I'm starting to feel like Night creatures don't like me. I do want to tell Charlotte, because she's the first friend I've ever had. In my old life I was bullied at school for having dirty clothes. I was always isolated, but Charlotte is so fun to play with. Me and Charlotte sat at the table drawing.
"Look, Nixy, I drew us together at the beach" She said.
"That looks, cool, but I'm scared of the water I can't swim." I replied. She looked down, and looked back up at me.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you from the water. If you ever fall in I'll save you. I'm not that strong, but I promise I'll save you." She said smiling grabbing my hand. "When I first came here, to this emperor all I could feel were others emotions. But I couldn't feel yours, when you touched me, I felt nothing but what I was feeling. You saved me, so I'll save you not matter what". I knew that Charlotte was a mental magic user, but being a mental user does have its draw backs. By what she told me, she seems to be an empath. Maybe I can ask for her help on who will try to assassin my family.
"Hey, Blue. If I asked for your help but could tell you why, would you help me?"
"Of course I would. I'd help you not matter what" She said. She's too cute.
"Well someone wants to kill my family. But I don't know who, or why. Could you sense the person's emotion?"
"Sadly, it doesn't work like that, I only know people emotions, but I couldn't tell why they feel like that. Most people have bad emotions but, I don't know the cause. I haven't been trained like that. However, my older brother would be more useful, he can read minds and see into the future, to a certain point."
"But, I don't like your brother, he thinks his God. Plus he stares at me like he's constipated"
"Hahahahaha, that's because he finds it irritating, not knowing something. Plus he can't read your mind so he finds it irritating" She said. "But, if you guys got married we would become sisters."
"Jesus Christ. No" I said. I would never and will never be with that boy, nor would I ever love him. I swear.
"Who is this Jesus you keep speaking of? Are you two together?" She questioned, she looked jealous.
"He's this guy who could turn water into wine" I said, if I say he is God's son then that would be confusing since in this world there aren't Gods. Instead there are spirits, I'm considered a daughter of the Sun.
"Was he an al, an al" She so cute, I forget she's only 4 years old
"Alcoholic? No", I responded
"Is he a magic user?", she asked.
"No he wasn't"
"Well where is he?" she asked another question. I'm starting to think I shouldn't have said anything to him.
"He's dead" I said hoping that maybe she'll stop asking questions.
"Oh no, I'm sorry for your loss. Were you guys close?". I forget children asking a lot of questions.
"He was nailed to a cross and had to wear a throne crown." Maybe this was to brutal for a child to here.
"That's terrible."
"Oh no, I never knew him"
"But, how come you know so much about him"
"Yeah, it wasn't by free will". I should probably stopped otherwise, I'll give it away that I'm not from this world.
"What are you two pretty girls talking about" I heard a soft gentle voice say. I knew who it was, it was a voice that relaxed me.
"Mummy!" I let go of Charlotte's hand and ran towards my mother, she went on her knees ready to receive my hug.
"How are you my Nixy? Are you and Miss Charlotte having fun?"
"Yes" She always smells warm and homey. "Did you finish doing your duties today Mum?"
"Not yet, Darling. But as soon as I finish, I'll come spend so time with you."
"What about Dad and Asmin. will they come too"
"Sorry, baby your father, will be going out on an expedition. But Asmin will come too. It will be just the three of us we can go anywhere you want to." I know when Mum says Dad's going on an expedition he's going out to hunt the Night creatures. They are a weakness of me and my mother, if they got their hands on me, it would be good. I'm a rank 5 on spiritual energy, its defined as limitless, I never run out of spiritual energy. In fact getting me as young as I am, and the fact I don't know how to fight would be great for them. My parents only want to announce my existence on my 16th birthday, when my body will be able to cope with the amount of energy flowing through my body.
"Charlotte, I'll see you tomorrow, okay. I think we should hang out with your brother tomorrow so we can play that game we wanted to" I said winking at her. My mother lifted me and walked off, whilst I waved at her, and she waved back.
