Chapter 2 - Chapter 1. A Heartless Helio.

Helios, the CEO of the Belios company stood still for almost three minutes.

His ocean green eyes fixated on the screen in the security room, he had a dark circle under his eyes from the sleepless night that he had gotten due to the emergence of a particular pest.

He looked haggard and in need of proper rest, but, regardless of that, the man was undeniably beautiful, not handsome, but beautiful, with rare green eyes like the ocean, he wasn't a male model but he should have been.

The lush, golden hair, that was shining like real shimmering gold, anyone who took a look at it could tell that his hair was well cared for and cherished. The only problem with his look was that he always had a stone-cold face, one that showed that he never smiled, regardless of having fine red lips.

The aquiline nose he sported complemented his prominent cheekbones.

Beauty was an understatement, anyone would wonder if he was born different when standing close to him.

He did not have broad shoulders or a husky body, but a fragile body, that could snap at any time if no one cared for him. And although he did not have such attributes, he possessed a latent, leonine power and always walked with purpose and authority.

People had always remarked that his best feature was his entrancing, ocean-green eyes.

Flamboyant of character, the room was always filled with his calm but intimidating voice, which always caused people to shrink in fear. However he had one problem, he was a lover of grey or black turtle neck suits, at work, those were the only colours they could find their beautiful boss in.

But right now, their boss wasn't happy.

He couldn't possibly believe his eyes. Right under his nose, there was a rat who kept stealing from him without any sign of empathy.

He frowned, as he watched the footage of the company rat, sitting comfortably at the office, waiting for his file to download, and once it had finished he stood up and took his coffee cup, leaving the office without a single inch of fear.

If he had known that he would one day be caught, he would not be sitting comfortably now as if nothing could ruin his happy moment, he had no idea who he was messing with, and if he did he would be shrinking in fear.

He bit his lower lip and clenched his fist, his green veins could be seen due to the pressure he used in his fist, once the video was done playing, he left the table and went towards the door, backing the security guards and his men. 'Arggghh' he cried out in anger, he threw his fist towards the steel door and the sound came off with a long bam, droplets of thick red blood stained his marble floor, "Let's go."

He said.

All he did was give the command when a flock of men tailed from behind.

He didn't spare a second of thought about letting this man go. The rat that he had been searching for, for almost three months had finally been found and now it was time for that rat to be apprehended. Before he could arrive at the exit door of the building, he could already see several cars lined up, waiting for him to get in, the door was pushed open and he walked towards his car as they bowed their head in respect of the sight of him. "Where are we headed to sir?" The driver asked.

"Let's go pay Mr Reynold a meeting, shall we."

At once, the driver started the engine and drove with speed home of Reynold, unknowing to him that he was in for a surprise that would change his entire life.

He pulled over to a small duplex with a small gate, the security approached his car, and Helio whined down his side window, only to show his face that at the moment had a frightening appearance, but that was nothing before the security could take a second look at his face, it averted to a blank look, almost as if the look he saw just a second ago was nothing more than a dream. "How, may I help you, sir?" He asked.

Helio's secretary signals for the guard to go to his side of the window, and when the man drew near, he whispered something into his ear.

With a face filled with surprise, the guard's eye widened as he rushed back to his post and opened the gates. "What did you tell him to act like that?" He asked his secretary.

With a smile like he was about to say something funny he sat back and said to Helios.

"Well we couldn't just barge in without a reason, so I told him, that if this house and his job would be taken away before tomorrow by the bank, and if he wanted a nice job, he should drop by at the office sometime, so whether or not he chooses to open the gate and have a job or not open the gates and not have a job by tomorrow was up to him."

A perfect sinister secretary for an ice-cold CEO, they were the best match for each other.

The car drove slowly as the gate behind, waited for the other vehicles to drive in, the guard could only sense that he had made a mistake when Helio and his men got out of the car, so he made a run for it. He calmly got knocked at the front door, waiting for a reply, the voice of an old lady that kept repeating herself echoed.

"Am coming." She yelled as she finally arrived at the door, only to find the young man waiting for her, with a face filled with menace, "how can I help you, young man." She questioned him while collecting her thoughts.

Now, his look became more threatening. "Yes, well I would like to speak with Reynold, immediately." He told her. She shivered and her legs trembled in fear, as she wondered what kind of trouble Reynold was in for.
