New memories flood my mind, so I leave a clone to man the bar as I sort my memories and the library within.

It's levelling up nicely, I wonder if I can do so again one day. Ignoring that, I separate all books and parchment by world, school, topic and difficulty.
Looking over at the Re: Zero magic section I felt truly tiny, 6 schools of magic, why do they need so much information on it? It sounds hypocritical since the elden ring one is twice the size but still!
As the next set of sorceries and incantations I want to work on are fire based, I'll get a good grounding in the fire magic here. I imagine it will give me a sturdy base to build upon.

It's been 2 days now, he hasn't opened his eyes once. Am I that much of a freak for progress? Melina says I am, but I say that's null and void since she can't even get Godrick's rune yet.
I start slapping the cheeks of my original, he's really invested. But who am I to judge myself?
Getting back to the bar, the kitchen roars up automatically as it cuts, boils, seasons, chargrills whatever the people are wanting. Hughie found a taste for the electric sheep, so he's basically been living off that for the past few days. Butcher seems to be getting better, not to brag but I think my food is helping him.
Today was a special day, yet sad. Alexander managed to best the most honourable warrior so far on his journey, Vyke. From a proud tarnished, spurned by gold to a gibbering fool in an evergaol. How the mighty have fallen, but he won't go to waste.
A plan of mine is to create an immunity to the frenzy caused by the frenzied flame. Just as I did to the scarlet rot, unfortunately Kalé refuses to help me on this endeavour, but with Vyke's spear I can inflict madness on myself and cure it.

The first thing I felt when I left the library was just back ache, I should've laid down somewhere instead. I struggle to pull myself up and have a small stretch, I walk over to the front and upon seeing me, my clone dispersed.

What on earth did he get up to? I immediately say yes allowing it to turn into an immunity. That's going to work wonders for me when learning the frenzied flame ones.

1- Master flame magic and all that jazz
2- Max out all of my immunities
3- Maybe learn an instrument
I recently added a piano to the corner of the bar, sometimes people go over and play it. Even Alexander started taking lessons, I have no idea how he plays so well with only three fingers per hand.
Nevertheless, I've still got customers. I need my clone to go and research how the re:zero fire magic somehow creates ice.
Time passed
"How are you Melina?" I feel like I haven't grounded myself in a while now, the counter felt alien to me for a moment.
"Hm, better. The tarnished are clearly of an inbred sort, however one has recently managed to impress me as of late."
"Oh tell me more." Months and months of tarnished this and tarnished that, and finally she seems happy with one.
"He's an eccentric sort, adorning a great jar upon his head and nothing else. However, I have not seen him get hit, once. It's rather disturbing, he never says a word, he's already made his way to Leyndell in just 2 full days."
"Oh my god, did he just not take a break a single time? I feel a little bit bad for Torrent."
"Torrent is fine, I appreciate your concern. But his name has spread to the volcano manor, I was worried about the increased attention but he seems to be more than capable."
"Well looks like you got yourself an Elden Lord, I have a question actually. There's a few great runes you can use when you get to the throne, but did they all really originate from the elden ring?" It's been on my mind for a while now, surely that pox rune was not a part of it.
"Nay, beings in possession of one of the great runes have the ability to alter them to suit their own characteristics." That gives me an idea, I'm sure not everyone with a great rune is all too nice surely?
As I say that the door opens slowly, "Malenia, what's the issue?" A solemn look plasters her face.
"Miquella was taken, my sword… was all for naught." Her prosthetic arm loosened slightly as she became disillusioned with her own capability.
I dispersed and reformed a new clone, so I could have him use the big bang magic to divine where Miquella is.

Giving a sympathetic pat on Malenia's shoulder, I stepped out into the Haligtree. Unfortunately I can't divine from such a place, I use my Big Bang magic to conjure a comet to take me into the central lands between. If it wasn't for the serious mood, I would've enjoyed it quite a bit.
Landing in the Consecrated Snowfield, I sent a shockwave out to clear the mist around me. Then I tapped into Miquella's star, adjusting it to show me his position.
Underground… central east… Mohgwin's palace?
I take off once more on my rocket blasting past the scenery, unfortunately, I still can't fly properly, I imagine I'll be able to once I do wind magic. Directing the comet, I finally landed at the entrance to Nokron. I got on the lift and waited… and waited. In the meantime I figured I would finish the book the clone before me was on, I may as well.
I snap out of my trance of reading, finally finishing the book and eventually reach the ground floor. If it had gone on any longer I would've had to open a new book, there's only 6 left for me to read.
Using the comet once again, I added crystalline handles on so it's easier for me. Taking me up into the Nokron sky, I could see the palace resting on the horizon. I know for a fact that it's going to be 'the tallest building in the tallest tower' sort of thing, anyone with a palace is like that.
It took two minutes but I finally reached it, dropping down in front of the massive cocoon. Poor lad just wanted to be an adult after all these centuries.
Stepping closer, his pale hand started dripping blood. Culminating into a pool of blood, from which Mohg stepped out. Kissing Miquella's hand before turning to face me.
"Welcome honoured guest, to the birthplace of pure dynasty!" His arms spread wide, recklessly proud of his own deeds.
"I'm here for Miquella, Mohg. He needs to go back to his sister." I march forwards towards him.
"Ah, a dissenter, no matter the herd needed thinn-" I socked him in the face.
"As Malenia is currently disposed, I shall kill you in her place." I raise my sword slashing down at him, he attempts to black with his staff but I aim for the hands holding them. Slicing his palm in half.
"AHHG, vile cur. The fury of the Mohgwin Dynasty is not to be trifled with." He reached behind him into a portal, splashing bloodflame at me. A few connections about how that all works join in my head, but I side track it for now.
Instead, I simply do as Malenia taught. I raise into the air, a phantom cutting his knee tendon and I follow up with a waterfowl dance. Chunks of horn and flesh rip out from his body, his wings struggle to spread as I slice them into ribbons. The dance ends, I leap back, he prepares to thrust his spear into the sky, right as I skewer his heart with a long thrust. His actions stop immediately, his good hand rests over mine as he falls to his knee.
There's something new in his eyes now, something fresh, "Ah the fool I was, charmed at first sight." I pull the blade from him, finishing him off at last.
I look over to Miquella's cocoon rested on a pelvic bone, I heave it up onto my back and begin the long and painful flight to the bestial sanctum. From which I can use the door to go to the Haligtree.
