Lia was outside, she did not start the car for a while, she just sat there waiting in the driveway.
She started Dom's car and she drove away, on her way out of the estate she was just so angry that she hit the horn of the car with her hand in an attempt to vent out all her anger and frustration.
Sure yes, this was what she wanted all along, she wanted Natasha to forget about Dom, she had those thoughts for a while now, but this was not the way she wanted things to go, and the thought just made her so angry.
But to her dismay her phone rang, which ended the little, silly frustration that she was feeling right now.
"What??" she said rudely as she picked up her phone.
"Hey Lia, me and Nine are over here, we heard from Alfred that you had already left, we thought that you were going to stay the night" said Charlie as his voice came from the other side of the line.
Nine was standing right next to him, with his cold eyes.
"*Sigh*" said Lia as she sighed and calmed herself down.
"Yes, I am on my way home, I miss my parents, I have not seen the all day" explained Lia as she made a turn and the estate gate opened as she drove away.
"Oh I see" said Charlie.
"Yes" said Lia as she kept her eyes on the road.
"Wait which car are you using?" asked Charlie.
"I'm using Dom's, why??" asked Lia.
"Oh it's nothing, I thought Dom returned and parked his car in the garage" said Charlie.
"Oh, I see, no Dom lent me his car" said Lia.
"Well I see then" said Charlie.
"Have a save drive home, and greet your parents for me" said Charlie.
"Thank you Charlie, I will, and greet Nine for me" said Lia.
"Goodnight" she said.
"Goodnight Lia" said Charlie as he ended the call.
Lia sighed, she had a long drive home, it was times like these that Lia hated the fact that her parents lived on the other side of the city.
"No, no right now she blamed Dom for deciding to move very far away from home.
...
"What did she say?" asked Nine as he looked at Charlie who put his phone in his pocket.
"She's on her way home, she said that she missed her parents" said Charlie as he looked at Nine.
"Why didn't she wait?" asked Nine.
"It is too dangerous for her to drive that long especially now that it is getting late" said Nine as he sighed.
"You know how stubborn Lia is Nine" said Charlie.
"I bet that even if you offered to drive her home, she would have refused" said Charlie as he laughed.
"Hmm" said Nine.
"Anyway, I am going to call Dom, let's see if he will agree to hang out with us today" said Charlie as he removed his phone from his pocket and he called Dom.
"Well you are on your own, he is going to say no, goodnight" said Nine as he walked away.
"Gosh, who got you in such a foul mood" said Charlie as he did not mind Nine leaving him like that.
"Hey Dom pick up already" said Charlie and as if Dom heard him the call was picked.
"What is it Charlie, is there something wrong?" asked a male voice from the other side of the phone.
"Hey Dom, nothing is wrong, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out" said Charlie.
"I can't I am very busy right now" replied Dom from the other side.
"Maybe next time" he said.
"Why don't you and Nine hang out" he said.
"Oh that one, well he has been in a foul mood ever since Lia showed up here" said Charlie as he laughed.
"Oh I see" said Dom.
"Is Lia still there?" he asked.
"No, she left a while ago, after she and that woman had dinner together" said Charlie.
"Oh, well alright then, I am going to hang up now, I still have work to do" said Dom.
"If you cannot find anyone to hang out with, just go to sleep, you do not always have to party Charlie" said Dom.
"Oh yeah yeah, of course you say that Dom, you are a party pooper" said Charlie.
"Haha" said Dom.
"Goodnight Charlie, and go to bed" said Dom as he laughed and cut the call.
"All these so called friends of mine are so not fair" said Charlie as he lamented.
"They are all party poopers" he said as he walked to his room, he had nothing better to do, who ever heard of a man partying alone, that was just for sad people, and losers.
...
"My baby what are you doing?" asked Natasha as she walked into Joy's room and she saw Joy was standing on her tippy toes and trying to get something out of her closet.
"Mommy, I was looking for Mr. Stuffy, and I found him way up there" said Joy as she looked sad and she pointed to her closet.
"Haha, aww my baby, you should have called me" said Natasha as she laughed, sometimes her baby did not act like a baby at all, she just always wanted to act like she was a big girl already.
"Well I did not want to disturb you Mommy, you were with Aunt Lia" said Joy.
"Oh that is so thoughtful of you my baby" said Natasha as she smiled and she walked over to Joy's closet and she brought down the stuffed animal.
"Here you go my baby" said Natasha.
"Yayyy, Thank you Mommy" said Joy as she smiled brightly and she hugged her stuffed animal, and she hugged her mother.
"So baby let's talk" said Natasha as she carried Joy and they both sat down on her bed.
"Sure mommy, what do we talk about?" asked Joy.
"Well for one my baby, Mommy is not always going to be around, I will need to go out from time to time, and you cannot spend all day waiting for me" said Natasha as she looked at Joy, and Joy looked like she was about to cry.
"Oh no my baby, don't cry, what's wrong?? why are you crying?" asked Natasha as she looked at Joy worriedly.
"Mommy when you left, I thought that you were not going to come back" said Joy as she cried.
"Oh no no, hush my baby" said Natasha as her heart broke seeing Joy cry like this.
"Never think that for one moment my baby" said Natasha as she hugged Joy.
"Mommy will always come back, she will always, she will never leave you okay" said Natasha as she felt like she was about to cry.
Her thoughts went to her future Joy, who must have cried a lot with no one to comfort her when she had died, the thought just made her heart twist.
"Joy listen to me" said Natasha as she wiped the little tears that managed to escape from her eyes, and she wiped Joy's tears.
"I will never, I repeat never leave you" she said as she looked at Joy.
"Okay??" she said.
"Okay mommy" said Joy as she sniffed and she nodded her head.
"Aww come here my baby" said Natasha as she hugged Joy tightly.
"I will never leave you my baby, not now, not ever" said Natasha.
"Do you feel better now?" asked Natasha as she broke their hug and looked at Joy.
"Mhmm" said Joy as she nodded.
"That's good my baby, don't cry, I don't like it when you cry" said Natasha.
"Okay mommy" said Joy as she nodded.
"Aww my baby" said Natasha as she gave Joy a kiss on her forehead.
"So what do you think about your Aunt Lia my baby?" asked Natasha as she smiled and wiped away Joy's tears.
"I do not like her mommy" said Joy straightforwardly, she did not like Lia, and she did not know why.
"Aww why not my baby?" asked Natasha.
"I do not know mommy" said Joy.
"Well maybe once you get to know her better you will like her" said Natasha.
"Well okay mommy" said Joy as she smiled.
"Well now my baby, let's get you ready for bed" said Natasha as she got off of Joy's bed and she carried her.
"Okay mommy" said Joy as she smiled brightly.
