"And are there any bodyguards off duty today?" she asked as she sipped her tea calmly
Alfred stopped right in his tracks and his face showed his utterly confused expression but he quickly put himself back together and said ,
"Yes Madam one of the new recruits that just started has not been assigned any duties yet and he is free" answered Alfred
"Good" Replied the Madam as she seemed to be thinking about something,
"What's his name?" she asked
"Who's name?" asked Alfred
"The name of the new Bodyguard off course" she answered
"Oh sorry Madam his name is Benjamin Maslow" replied Alfred
"Hmm Benjamin Maslow, Benjamin Maslow" she said as she look like she was trying to recollect something
"Yes Benjamin Maslow, I never had much contact with him in my past life, but he was a good kid, and was always quiet and never did what he was not supposed too, I think he would do very nicely" she said to herself in her mind.
Meanwhile while she was thinking Alfred was getting more worried by the minute he let all this thoughts run absolutely wild.
"Why is the Young Madam so quiet? what does she want with the new recruit don't tell me she wants so have an affair to anger the Young Master??
No she would never do that The Young Madam Loves the Master too much to do such, even though The Young Master doesn't love her back she would never do such a thing I trust her" said Alfred as he tried to calm his thoughts.
On the Other Hand Joy was just watching the two adults while drinking her chocolate milk.
Alfred was finally pulled out of his wild running thoughts when he heard her ask,
"How old is he?"
"What?? now she wants to know his age??" said Alfred as he thought in his mind what is going on here?
"He's 23 Madam... 2 years younger than you, there is no possibility she would ever date him" said Alfred but of course the last part was said in his head.
"Good" said the Madam as she smiled
That smile creeped out Alfred so much that this time he just had to ask,
"Madam if I may ask why are you asking for all this information?"
The Madam went quiet for a while before she said "Because Alfred I need to learn how to fight... Martial Arts, Karate, Jujitsu, Taekwondo, Judo, Kung Fu, Kickboxing.. any or all of them I need to learn them" she said with a bitter emotion in her eyes.
Alfred could notice how she stressed the way she called every single fighting Technique and there was something he could not Fathom in her eyes but it brought shiver's down his spine.
"The Madam has never seen so scary before, what happened?" he asked himself
"Okay Madam I can get that Arranged, you are in luck Benjamin has dabbled in every of those Techniques, may I be excused now?" he asked as he did not want to stay here any longer
The Madam nodded her head and said "Good You may be excused and please remember to move my things" she said and Alfred Nodded and left the Dining Area.
"Mommy... Why do you want to learn how to fight?" asked Joy with her big doe brown eyes.
Her Mother finally realized that Joy was still there as she snapped out of her deep thoughts, and the pain and hurt she once felt was replaced with a calm smile.
"Well my Dear it's so I can protect myself... Don't you want me to be strong so I can protect the both of us??" she asked
"No Mommy is already the strongest" replied Joy
"Aww My dear" she said as she hugged her beloved daughter.
"Sure, I am the strongest, but I want to be even stronger" she said as she smiled.
"Okay Mommy" said Joy
"But if you learn how to fight, can I learn too??" asked Joy and it made her mother start laughing.
"Mommy what's so funny??" asked Joy as she could not understand why her mother was laughing.
"It's nothing my dear, you are just too cute" she said as she laughed.
"But Mommy I want to learn how to fight" said Joy seriously.
"Okay okay my dear, we'll see" she said as she laughed and pinched Joy's cheeks.
Meanwhile elsewhere in the Mansion
Several women and men seemed to be working, they were the maids and stewards of the house, the maids wore a black below the knee dress with a white trim at the edge a half -apron was worn over their dress.
And their hair was tied up into a clean bun, while the stewards wore black pants and a white shirt and a swallow tail dress coat, they also wore white gloves on their hands
They all stood in line as they heard the sound of hands clapping that belonged to none other than Alfred.
"Listen Up everyone, Please Move the Madam's things from the West wing to the East wing immediately" said Alfred as he commanded authority
Once they heard the word Madam and move in the same sentence they all gasped and forgot that they were servants and immediately started murmuring amongst themselves
"What the Madam is moving?" some asked in shock on the other hand some seemed relieved even pleased.
"Finally that woman has gotten the message and should stop troubling the boss" said on maid with a sharp mouth and the others nodded in agreement.
They all seemed to forget that their Superior, Alfred was there they were all too engrossed in their babblings and gossips.
"Excuse me, can you all stop your nonsense that is Your Madam you are talking about" said Alfred as he did not raise his voice but his tone was harsh and authoritative
As soon as he said that all the maids and stewards kept their mouths shut and apologized except for a certain maid that said
"It's not our fault the Master hates her" just loud enough for everyone to hear
All the other workers gasped at what she just said.
"Lexi, I warn you to bridle your tongue before it gets you in trouble, now the rest of you get ready I will give you instructions of when to start moving soon" said Alfred as he warned the maid named Lexi.
"Yes Alfred" said the Other servants
"Good, Now everyone get back to work" said Alfred as he walked out of the room.
Leaving Lexi with a sour expression on her face.
