MIA'S POV
Today's the Luna ceremony and I'm feeling a little uneasy. I have no idea what Bella is up to her lack of communication is infuriating.
She hasn't bothered to speak to me since she told me about the "deal", so I can get Mason to assume I'm in love with him.
I just hope she doesn't change her mind or ditch me at the last minute.
I'm currently in Mason's bedroom, he had sent a few omega's to come and get me ready for tonight.
I've spent practically two hours getting ready for tonight and I'm starting to get a little annoyed because these girls are taking extremely long to get me dressed.
I don't know why they don't just let me attend the ceremony in something simple, I hate looking like all those Luna's with those expensive dresses and heavy makeup, I'll never be Luna material it's just not my thing.
Are you girls done? I ask the omega.
"Yes, almost Luna", the omega that's styling my hair responded.
"Okay," I murmured.
A knock on the bedroom door draws my attention.
One of the omega's answers it, standing by the door is nonother than Michelle.
What does she want? I hope she hasn't come here to hurt me because if she does think she can hurt me, today will not be the Luna ceremony but her funeral.
She strolls into the room, "give us a moment" She ordered the omega's.
They nodded and soon scurried away, afraid of Michelle. she locks the door behind her.
What is she up to?
"Well, I finally have a moment alone with you my dear", she said with an evil glint swirling in her eyes.
I get up from the chair and step in front of her with my arms folded against my chest, I shoot her an heated glare.
What do you want Michelle? I questioned getting straight to the point.
She chuckles. "You've become brave I must say, Mia", she remarked.
I was always brave Michelle, I retorted.
The thing was I had to control my rage and hatred for everyone in this pack including your dear son.
I don't understand Mia, what's your deal with Mason? She asked looking innocently at me.
If you're not interested in being his mate then why are you going through with the Luna ceremony?
It's because Mason doesn't want to let me go, he's kind of obsessed with me.
"Maybe I can help you", that's if you want my help.

I am, very much Mia. I want to help you get far away from Mason and this pack.
Why? Is cause you despise me or because you're afraid that I'll soon get rid of you after I become Luna?

Of course, it is Michelle, once I become Luna I'll get you and your dear daughter out of this pack, in case you've cannot remember I haven't forgotten what you two had done to me, the both of you trried to kill me but I won't do the same to you two Michelle I'll make certain that you two pay dearly for trying to hurt me.
"You b*tch, how dare you threaten me" she sneered.
If you think I'm scared of you and your empty threats then you're surely mistaken, Mia.
I have something huge planned for you, she said chuckling like a idiot.
Yeah right you obviously think whatever plan you have cooked up for me is going to work Michelle, well you're absolutely wrong there's nothing you can do to get me out of here!
The door suddenly opens and Mason walks in, glancing between the two of us with his brows raised.
What's going on? Mason demanded.
Nothing, Michelle quickly answered.
I was asking Mia if she needed any help.
Help with what? Mason pressed as he shot his mother a glare.
Michelle stares at Mason dumbfounded not sure what to say.
Actually your mother and I were discussing my position as Luna, I chimed in.
"Oh" are you done by the way? Becouse the ceremony is about to start in about twenty minutes, Mason asked as he glanced at his watch.
I just need to put on my dress, I'll be done soon.
Alright, I'll be waiting for you right outside.
I nodded.
Mother could I have a word with you alone?
"Yeah sure", she replied.
I'll catch up with you later Mia, she said as she shot me an evil smirk.

I'm finally done after hours of dressing. I open the door and step outside to see Mason eagerly waiting for me just like he had said.
Mia, you look stunning, I'm glad that the moon goddess has bestowed upon me such a beautiful mate as you.
Thank you, I murmur and mentally roll my eyes, will he ever stop with his lame talks.
So are you ready to go and commence with the ceremony?
I see someone's eager to become my Luna, he commented with a chuckle.
Yes I am and I can't wait any longer, I responded with a fake smile.
MASON'S POV
Mia is an absolute angel, what was I thinking? I had hurt her and I wanted to use her for my selfish deeds but after spending time with her I've fallen for this woman, I'm not sure if she feels the same way about me but I will find out today whether she wants me or not.
As we make our way down the stairs, I feel everyone's eyes on us, particularly Mia.
Nobody has the right to look at her that way besides me, she's mine and only mine.
as we stop at the bottom of the stairs, my gaze roams around the room, searching for that specific person that I had invited tonight.

Alpha Mason, the alpha from the moonstone pack approaches us, he thrusts out his hand for a hand shake.
Alpha Damien, I greeted as I shook his hand.
Meet my mate Mia, I said pointing to Mia.
Hi Luna, Damien let out as he stared at Mia.
Hi alpha, Mia mumbled with her head down.
I see you have a submissive mate over here Mason, Damien told as he gaped at Mia which slightly irked me a bit.
Yes I do and having a mate like Mia makes my life so much easier, I don't have to deal with unnecessary tantrums and bickering, I remarked knowing what an annoying mate Damien has.
I'm glad you do, I just wish the moon goddess could grant me a mate like yours, Damien stated still staring intently at Mia.
Anyway, I'll catch up with you later, I have a ceremony to get on with, I said as walked away and up the stage with Mia by my side.
The ceremony took place just like how I had wanted it to be without any issues, everything went on perfectly.
Mia is now my luna and I can't say I'm rather thrilled to have her as a mate.
I've noticed how the other alphas display such interest in Mia, they constantly attempted to stir up a conversation with Mia but all she did was nod her head or try to leave.
Alpha? Jeremy called as he approached me.

I walked a little further away from Mia. What's the matter?
