Chapter 7 - CHAPTER 6

Outside the hotel, Theresa got into the car she had hired on their way here. After 18 mins of driving, the car stopped in front of a blue building, getting out of the car, she was welcomed by a young man in a red suit

"Long time no see, Theresa," the man says in a friendly tone.

"Hello, Chris, how are you?"

"I'm good, It's good to have you back," Chris says giving her a hug

"It's good to be back" Theresa replies

"Where's my uncle?"

"Let's go," Chris says pointing to the direction they are supposed to take.

After a short walk they got into the elevator and when it opened Theresa was greeted with a warm smile from her uncle Klaus Tate.

"Princess" Klaus exclaims reaching out for a hug

"I missed you," Theresa says leaning into the hug.

After the hug, Klaus leads her to his table and helps her sit.

"I'm so happy to see you strong again"

"Me too"

"How is the family"

"Everyone is okay"

"Are you feeling a lot better now?"

"Yeah"

"That's my warrior princess, I always told your parents that you will pull through," Klaus says with a proud smile, having Theresa return the smile

"Dad asked me to give you this" Theresa says giving him a file

"Oh, that old man, it's been a while since we had a drink tell him to come over for a drink sometime," Klaus says receiving and opening up the file.

"Why not tell him, aren't you guys best friends" Theresa smirked

"I could but then he'll just get high in his head thinking he's all that, you know your father's pride and ego, right?"

"Yup, exactly like yours and that's why you don't want to call him, anyway I will tell him" Theresa laughs

At the entrance of the building Nathaniel, Simon and Sheila are about to enter

"Sir, we have arrived, Mr. Tate is over there," Simon says to Nathaniel

They walk into the hotel and their bodyguard Klaus leads them to him.

"Bring Sarah, with you next time, I need to pacify her, we had a little misunderstanding last time we met," Klaus says in an almost pleading manner

"Yes Uncle"

A guard comes over to Klaus and whispers something to him,

"Theresa, I have a meeting now, see you later okay, Chris is going to take you back," Klaus says looking at Chris.

"Thanks, Uncle Klaus" Theresa says with gratitude.

As Theresa gets up to leave with Chris, Nathaniel and the others join them in the room, she nods to them as a sign of greeting and leaves with Chris.

Nathaniel looks at her and smirks "You again?, I can't believe you're acting like you don't know me after disappearing for two years. Anyway you're lucky that I have something to do today, but if you cross paths with me again, I won't let you go until you pay for what you did " Nathaniel thinks

---------------

Thanks, Chris" Theresa says as she highlights from the car

"You're welcome Theresa," Chris says and drives off.

Theresa takes the elevator and heads to her room.

"What took you so long?" Sarah asks immediately Theresa enters the room

"There was traffic" she replies

"Ok, hurry up let's go," Sarah says putting on her sneakers. They are going shopping for an outfit to wear at Jessica's party.

At Mall*

"Is that the dress?" Theresa asks Sarah pointing to the white dress she's holding,

" yes" Sarah answers

"Cute"

"It is right?" Sarah says before turning to the clerk beside her and saying "We'll take this one and that one" she says pointing to the beige jumpsuit she picked for Theresa

"Ok, ma'am..." the clerk was saying before the white dress was snatched from her

"I'll take that," the girl who snatched the dress says, while she puts it above her skin to see if will fit

"OMG, Emma, you are so gonna rock that dress," a friend of this *Emma* girl says staring wide-eyed at the dress

"Yeah Tina's right you're a show stopper" another friend added to *Tina's* comment.

"I didn't expect any less," Emma says with a proud smile.

"Wrap this up for me," she says to the clerk.

"But ma'am this Lady had asked for it first," the clerk said to her

"So, just get her another one" Emma snaps at her.

"I could but this is a limited collection and this is the last piece in the whole of Country M," the Clerk says bitterly, oh how she wishes she could lash out at this little brat but Emma Carmen is one brat you should not mess with if you want to live in Heather Way city.

"Oh, then it's your lucky day honey," she says to Sarah who had been watching this drama unfold before her eyes along with Theresa.

"You get the chance to give something to Emma Carmen and let's be honest it will glow better on me right?" Emma says to Sarah sarcastically

"Well thanks for the honor but I think I'll pass, but it will look gorgeous on me and I don't want to miss out on that experience," Sarah says in the same tone

"Ok, so do you know how much that dress costs, I think the likes of you won't be able to afford it, so I am being kind by buying, we won't want you to embarrass yourself right?" Emma snorts, looking at how casual Sarah and Theresa are dressed. She's been so judgmental that she doesn't realize how expensive the *casual clothes* are.

"Well thanks for your kindness miss but we don't mind," Sarah says, she was starting to lose her patience with this girl

"Why don't you just give Emma the dress it's not like you can bare being on her bad side," Tina says while Sarah rolls her eyes at her.

"Don't waste your breath, Tina," Emma says

Not caring about the three brats in front of her Sarah tells the salesgirl to wrap up the dress. The salesgirl turns to Emma one more time before leaving to do as she has been assigned. Finished with the job, she's about to hand it over to Sarah when a voice halt's her movement

"Hello, Young Lady Carmen" the man with the voice greets

"Hello Mr. Dean"

"I see you have graced my shop once more with your presence, so what can I get for you?" Mr. Dean the manager of the shop says

"Well nothing much, I just wanted this dress but it seems another customer has already purchased it and I don't want anything else, I should just call my mom and tell her to help me find another place to shop," Emma says with a fake hurt expression pointing at the bag in the sales girl's hands

"That's not an issue, no need to bring Mrs. Carmen into this" Mr. Dean says taking the bag from the girl and asking her to show him who the customer is and he points to Sarah and Theresa who are sharing a laugh about something they found funny.
