At the coven, Fiona was led into Ezeldah's chambers and asked to take a seat. She had spent the last ten minutes trying to change Ezeldah's mind, but her pleas fell on deaf ears.
Ezeldah was not sure what answers she would get in finding Igram's father but she had a feeling it was a key to finding him, and no one was going to talk her out of it. She cleared her chambers and ordered the guards to leave them alone for the night.
"Relax, you are not breaking any rules, I am the one breaking the rules," she assured Fiona. "Now tell me where you met the man that impregnated you and tell me every detail about him," she ordered in a calm voice as a mother would.
It was the first time Fiona had seen the calm side of her. She was used to being yelled at and insulted.
She cleared her throat, still confused, "I do not understand, but why can't you just read my mind?"
"We both know how good you are at making sure I only read what you want," Ezeldah replied in a serious tone.
