Fiona was struck speechless, caught out of words as her lips pressed tight together. She had no idea whether to thank him or how to react.
"What?? So you thought you were the one that blinded Ezeldah?" he mocked, his hands tightly wrapped around her waist.
Fiona bit her tongue, "No... I did...I"
He chuckled, "You might be more powerful than her, but you can't fool her considering her years of experience."
Fiona only rolled her eyes.
"Now back to business. First, leave Igram alone. Second, for the old hag to keep you alive, you have to tell her that I intend to have another baby with you," he whispered.
Fiona's eyes shot up immediately, her mind spirally out of control, as the prospect of sleeping with him somehow flushed her cheeks with color and made them warm. This forced him to hit the back of her head softly.
"Naughty girl, I mean lie to her, I do not plan on falling for your charms again!"
