"Dun, Dun Dun Dun!"
my alarm plays, I turn it off to look at the date and my phone and holy, already graduation?
2 Dark Figures than burst into my room one having a camera and the look on my face is priceless, the one with the camera than proceeds to take a picture and they both laugh while taking off their masks. Turns out, it's just my old man and my ma who were playing a stupid joke on me I than proceed to yell at them in a jokingly matter letting them know it wasn't funny.
Dad goes onto say, "Yeah Yeah, just get ready, graduation starts in a hour! We're proud of you son, maybe after we could take some of you and your friends out for a good meal."
I than agree with his proposal and go to get dressed and ready, I decide to style my hair different than usual taking the more "messy bed hair" look since I think it looks pretty nice, I than go to my closet and decide if I wanna wear a suit or not and I just say f*ck it why not. I put on the all black suit plus glasses and safe to say I believe I could even pull Sakura with this on.
I than get a text from me and my friends group chat from Jai asking if everyone's ready for the big day with everybody replying Of Course or Yes Sir. I'm now putting on my cologne and heading downstairs to wait for my parents to find out they're already in the car ready to go, so I hop in the car they notice my outfit and compliment it and we're on are way to graduation.
Arriving at the school I see my buds and immediately hop out greeting them all and than my friend Trey whispers in my ear,
"You seen sakura yet?" He says trying to be as quiet as possible, "No, where is she?" I than turn around to what is the hottest girl in school chilling with her big group of friends that has a male and female mix.
Trey let's me know I should go say Hi but than I tell him I don't want any problems with her boyfriend Max at the moment, he sighs but than comes to a understanding and that's when we hear the announcement for us to come in so we all do with parents following behind.
The Ceremony goes well and even for me it was slightly emotional but not enough for a tear to come from my eyes, I get 2 awards one for being "Most Excellent Student" meaning I've never gotten anything other than a A+ and another one for "Most Strategic Student" which is all because of the gaming tournament are school had back at the start of the year, after the ceremony we all took class photos, group pictures, and said are farewells to people who decided to leave already, I than sneak away from the group heading to the bathroom and I see Sakura so I approach and say,
"Yo, how you doing Kura?" Kura is my nickname for her by the way, although I don't use it much.
"Pretty good and you haven't called me that name in ages Luni, what brings you here though?" She says happily.
"Well nothing much, I just wanted to use the bathroom-" I than see Sakuras boyfriend, Max, and 2 others come out from the corner and they notice me and Sakura in an instant.
"Luni, what the fuck are you doing here with Sakura" He says in a nonchalant angry tone, I reply and let him know I was simply trying to go to the bathroom but Sakura happened to be here and Max just doesn't buy it.
He than pulls me up by my collar and threatens to beat my ass in front of everyone if I don't get lost, I think for a second but something tells me I should really take my leave since I don't have any chance of winning. I take him up on his offer and leave, simple as that.
I return to my friends and family not saying anything about what just happened but I do plan on telling Trey, just not at this second so to take my mind off the topic I bring up dads offer for food and everyone agrees to it so we head out to Liner Eats.
After we arrive I pull Trey aside and inform him about everything that happened and he takes the situation serious as hell,
"Luni what the hell, you should've came and got me and told me about this. You know I have your back in everything!" he says in a angry tone.
"I know, I know but something didn't feel right at all at the time so I just left it alone" I say trying to get him to come to terms with my reasoning for not telling him. Trey than looks around and tells me he's gonna let me in on a secret and that's when my eyes went as wide as the human eye could because of the news he told me.
