So I hop on Destroyer Arc as told and I invite Trey to my lobby, he joins we greet each other and hop into a match. As we load in a few people notice who I am considering I'm a global player top 2 in the whole world and destroyer arc being a very popular game at the moment being a global player no matter the person would bring some type of popularity.
"My god, these people recognized you before you even loaded in." Trey says in sarcastic surprised tone.
"It's normal to me at this point, I always forget to turn on streamer mode plus turning off the global player announce thing that lets other know you're in a game, so do you wanna continue where you left off from a few hours ago?" I reply back.
"Oh yeah, nearly forgot not gonna lie, I'll talk about it along the way as we play." Trey says in a serious tone trying to focus up.
So as we are picking a castle to land on I get a text from a anonymous number but I assume it's spam. so I ignore it.
So you guys won't be confused Destroyer Arc is basically a medieval version of cod kinda along with magic and other stuff which makes it pretty fun, difference is though you can do solo, duos, trios, and squads on the various game modes, of course having a full on team is a option since there are things like war mode where it's a full on 20 v 20 spaced out in one battle field but that's besides the point.
Me and Trey land in probably the most populated place known in the game than he starts explaining what the note said because he felt as if we were being watched at the diner we were eating at.
"The note told me to keep quiet, if news got out to the whole school or authorities he would make sure anyone close or related to me would pa-" Treys mic cut out for a second but than I just hear him yell in excitement about his 3 kill streak which makes me laugh.
"My bad, anyways as I was saying he would make anyone close to me or related to me pay, and he would also cover up my beating as well at school so nobody would have to worry about my absence."
Trey continues on to what he had said, but something isn't adding up to me though, wouldn't his parents be concerned? So I ask my question and than he answers my question and it kinda surprises me but I always felt something was off when it came to his parents.
"Good question and nice job on having 9 kills but anyways both of my parents are both gang affiliated or at least were gang affiliated, so they are very aware on how threats from a gang as big as Max's are, shit is crazy as hell. They told me all the possible methods and when I tell you those methods sound like something out a anime they indeed do sound like some shit some mob bosses or whatever would do in a anime." Trey emphasizes, I would've asked him to elaborate on the methods but at this point I would rather focus on the game.
I end the game off the game with 24 kills and as I close my eyes for a second I see a player with 25 kills…
Trey even notices and says "Wow what the hell? That guy can match your skill level?" and I just think to myself, who could this guy be as I go to look at the time on my phone and see the message from the anonymous number, they say quote on quote "nice to meet you #2! I would like to tell you I'm #1, it's nice to finally see both of the top 2 players in a match together:)"
Seriously, who the hell does this guy think they are and how did they get my number? I tell Trey about the message and he also wonders how it would be possible for them to obtain my number, we forget about it for the rest of are 5 hours playing and we also train for duo tournaments to increase are rep and rank, Trey has potential to turn global but he still needs more training on a lot of his skills and not to mention he only got the game recently.
I also put in a good hour of streaming which lead to a good 200$ alone of donations and since Trey was a good source of entertainment for the viewers I split it with him before getting off and boy is he happy, I turn off the computer and proceed to get ready for bed but I get a text from Sakura,
"I'm so sorry Luni about what Max did to you…" one text sent but she continues typing,
"Max ended up realizing he was wrong after I talked a little sense into him and he wants to talk, are you free tomorrow?"
I than think in my mind hell no, just hell no because if she had to convince that mad man to realize his own actions than that means he never felt that way from the start so I tell her that I'm busy with a tournament and she says she understands.
Whew, dodged a hard bullet right there. So I continue my routine and get in bed where I than go to sleep.
I wake up to a text from a anonymous number once again and oh fucking lord they're spamming my phone at what like 4 in the morning? I than look at my phone and all I can see is "Luni-San!", "Hey LuLu you up yet?!?", "You wake up so late I swear:/"
At this point I was about ready to curse out #1 cause I knew this was indeed #1 hitting my phone, I than ask him what the hell he wants and he texts back that he thinks we should give each other formal introductions.
"Nice, I'm going back to sleep now talk to you later." I reply back nearly turning off my phone.
"Wait Wait Wait! At least let me introduce myself first! My name is Kada Nor and I'm interested in how you play." Wait hold on this person is a girl??? Ignoring the last part of the message I than have to make sure of this so I text back asking for their gender and they confirm they're a girl.
"So why the hell does your profile say male? not to mention the rest of your info including user is kinda private from the leaderboard." I reply back in shock.
"Well, don't tell anyone but I really like male avatars they are just….so so hot( ͡❛ ͜ʖ ͡❛)" and that's where I crossed the line, I told number tw- or Kada goodnight and went back to sleep.
