"Do either of you know how long we're going to be out here?" Arctic asked as he crossed his legs and began tapping his foot.
"Three days, and that's if we don't have delays." Celeste said while rolling her eyes.
"Three days?! It should take us a day max. Why the hell is it taking us that long?" Arctic griped as if this was new information he had just received. Wayne knew why it was taking this long but decided to stay quiet. He didn't want to say something snarky and potentially upset this guy.
"Did you even read the report? It has all the details on there," Celeste said as she looked at Arctic as if his intelligence was beyond saving.
"Look, I just looked to see how much we were getting paid and accepted it, no questions asked," Arctic said as if anybody with a brain would do.
"You're hopeless," Celeste chided.
Wayne looked between Celeste and Arctic and shook his head as they sounded like a married couple. Wayne took the time at the beginning of the trip to look them up on the forums to see what powers they have, and for Arctic, it was pretty obvious with his name he has ice powers and is a high-tier Class A.
With Celeste, she had phantom powers and was also a high-tier Class A. Wayne was interested in her abilities, but he didn't sweat it thinking they would have some action sooner than later.
"Hey, Celeste, I just thought about something. What happens to the people that say no to his offer? They can easily see the missions pay and take the cargo for themselves." Wayne asked with a pondering look on his face.
"Well, Higyby just asked the ones that handle the high-value jobs, and if they say no and proceed to attack us, they risk dying and/or being hunted by the entire hunters association."
"I guess that makes sense," Wayne said as he looked at Celeste's figure; she had on some purple tights with some black swirls mixed in. She looks as if she is of Indian descent with her long black hair and gray eyes.
"What are you looking at?" Celeste asked with a mean look on her face. Asking as if it was a question not to be answered. Wayne just turned his head and kept his focus on his surroundings for the rest of the trip.
Night came, and Higby pulled over to the side of the road with thick trees and pressed a few buttons on his dash, making everything invisible.
Arctic hopped off the truck and ran to the nearest tree to relieve himself. Wayne and Celeste began setting up the tent and preparing their sections for bed.
"Are missions usually this quiet?" Wayne asked Celeste as he was finishing up his section.
"No, but take this in while you can; sometimes, these missions can get hectic. Especially if we run into a gang of thieves," Celeste said as she slipped into bed.
Wayne was feeling bored, but Celeste was right; it won't always be like this, and with that, Wayne went to sleep for the following day.
The following day came, and everybody packed up and was ready to head out again.
As they headed out, Arctic was the only one full of energy, rambling non-stop.
"Hopefully, today isn't too boring, I want to stretch the legs," Arctic said in his many ramblings.
"If we have to stop to fight, it will only extend our trip," Celeste said with her eyes closed and arms crossed.
"I guess, but aren't you guys itching for a fight?"
Wayne was feeling the same way as Arctic, but he stayed silent, he didn't want to be seen in the same light. He just kept his focus on the road. After two hours, Radio yelled loud enough for Wayne's side to hear him.
"Get ready! It seems to be three of them hiding out ahead, about five clicks!"
Wayne looked ahead to see if he could see anything, but he could see nothing but trees on either side, so it was hard to see what was awaiting ahead.
"That was Radio. He has sonar-like abilities, so he can see way beyond on the road ahead than we can" Celeste said, seeing the confusion on Wayne's face.
As they got closer, everybody had a stern face as two figures with masks appeared in the front while one appeared behind them. Arctic immediately grew a smile on his face and hopped out of his seat as soon as the truck stopped.
"Just leave the truck alone, and we'll forget you guys were even here," one of the men in front said, hoping they didn't have to fight this out, but it was already too late.
"You guys picked the wrong truck to steal," Arctic said with a devilish smile.
"Should we help him? It's three against one," Wayne said as he saw Celeste in no rush to get out of her seat.
"You mean three against two," She said as she pointed to Grim, who was standing in front of the one person in the back.
"Just watch the show. If more people are dumb like these three, we'll get our chance," she said as she yawned, looking towards the battle that was coming.

Arctic was the first to strike, creating an ice dome around the two masked thieves that were with him on the outside, and he slowly constricted the space around it, condensing it into a smaller sphere second by second. A few cracks on the wall appeared as one of the masked thieves was trying to break the ice.
"Oh, we have a strong one. Too bad by the time you're able to break my ice, you'll be dead," Arctic said as he cackled at their despair.

Meanwhile, Grim didn't move, but the ground shook for a few seconds, and as that was happening, the masked thief threw out wind slashes hoping to help their allies before its too late.
Grim had a long black cape on surrounding his body with long black hair and a mask covering the bottom half of his face. He swayed from side to side, almost appearing to be gliding across the floor, dodging the wind slashes that were coming towards him. The thief ran towards Grim to get him while he was distracted by the wind slashes and to attempt to get a point blank kill shot, but as she got closer, a skeletal shark hopped out of the ground chomping the thief in half.
At the same time, the sphere Arctic had made was as small as a snow globe and dark red in color.
Shortly after, the two came back on the truck, and the truck slowly resumed its course.
"Whew! that felt great, almost like morning coffee," Arctic said with a smile on his face getting to release some energy.
Wayne was hoping it would be his turn soon as he wanted to get some energy out as well. After another hour of driving, Radio yelled out again.
"Four this time, five clicks!"
Wayne looked at Celeste, and she was still uncaring, so he took it upon himself to go. As they got closer, all four appeared out front, and Wayne hopped out, ready to take on all four, but as he walked to the front of the truck, he saw Rose standing there already.
"So I guess I'll take the two on the left," Wayne suggested.
"Alright, let's see who can take them down first," Rose said with a mischievous smile, and she started her attack.
