Horu Askava is a boy born in a little town called Zerich. He is an ordinary human who lives with his father and is currently 5 years old.
One day, a day before Horu's sixth birthday, he found a glowing crystal with different colors outside when he was playing around. He picked it up and it started to glow, making weird sounds then it entered his body, fusing with him. A member of The Dark Order, which is a group of bandits looking for such crystals saw what happened to Horu and alerted his superiors, they kept an eye on the boy and his father and the following day, on Horu's sixth birthday, they striked.
Horu's father Marlin was an excellent fighter who held off a few of the Dark Order's soldiers but they were too many to handle. But before he started the fight he told his son to run away to his grandpa's house in another town because he wouldn't be there to protect him anymore, his last words to his son were, "Grow stronger Horu, grow so strong that you surpass the gods and never forget those dearest to you".
These words became the core of Horu and he abided by it. He walked two days without food or water and went over to his grandpa's house which was in another town called Biskra.
The thing was, in Zerich, Horu and Marlin were outcasts who were shunned and lived at the outskirts of the town because of rumors they heard about Marlin's wife, but when he came over to Biskra it was a completely different case, everyone cared for him and when he arrived at the town, looking pale and weak, a little girl with pink eyes and pink hair by the name of Yura around the same age as him was the one who helped him to the town clinic.
His grandfather Mukuso then came over to pick him up because information about Horu spread like wildfire.
Mukuso took him in and trained him to be a great Martial Artist. Some years later training under Mukuso, In the whole town, he was seen as the best Martial Artist and he also had improved senses due to his father's hunting trait. He could hear better, see better, smell better and feel things better than normal humans even though he wasn't a Denkali.
His best friend and only friend in the whole town was Yura, the girl that found him on the entrance to the village years ago, he didn't really like socializing with others and thought that having just one friend would be enough. They would play games, train and do all sorts of fun things together and most of the townspeople thought they were actual siblings but were separated at birth.
But all that changed when the Dark Order discovered the whereabouts of Horu once more, they attacked the village on the day before his 14th birthday and almost destroyed everything. Horu knew that now he was stronger than even his father was before so he decided to take a stand against the Dark Order all by himself whilst the townspeople tried to run away.
Before he was about to go straight at them, Yura came and stood by him, they charged at the Dark Order together. They killed most of the members that came at them but they were too much for only the two of them to handle. And soon after, a huge muscular man about 11 feet tall and weighed around 500 pounds came in and swatted people away like flies sending them back and eventually killing them.
On seeing this, Horu was enraged and headed straight for the huge man that the other members called, "Grunda the Giant". He easily swatted Horu back as well and went straight for Yura. Yura was terrified at the huge man's presence and aura and fell down as she was going back slowly.
Horu got up from being knocked out and looked around, the town he once called home was in complete shreds. He turned to look at Yura and standing before her was the giant man with a huge club in his hand ready to attack a young defenseless girl. Horu got up and ran as fast as he could towards Grunda and shouted, "NOO!! YOU WONT TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME!!".
After saying this, his entire eyes turned red filled with his own blood and his power boosted massively. He moved towards Grunda with incredible speed and punched him in the gut sending him far away. The entire army retreated because their leader was taken down and feared that they would be destroyed by the power of this Unknown boy too. But, it was already too late, Yura was already hit.
Horu walked terrifyingly towards Yura as it seemed that the power he got was fading off, and hoped that she wasn't gone. He knelt down and lifted her in his arms. He hugged her and said to her with tears running down his face, "Please don't go Yura, you're the only one I have left, PLEASE DONT GO". After saying that, he heard Yura mumble, "Continue fighting Horu, I'm sorry"
Horu felt unimaginable pain and anger and let out a scream that echoed throughout the entire area. He thought that was it until he heard a voice that said, "Rage boost has been unlocked, you are now a Denkali".
