He continued to up his guard because he felt that he could be attacked at any time, Then, he heard a sound in the bushes. He took a stance thinking it was another monster, but to his surprise, it was a short boy with blue hair and blue eyes with a backpack strapped to his back.
Horu then felt at ease as he thought that this little boy was of no harm. He then asked the boy;
Horu: Hey kid I'm Horu, what's your name?
boy: Oh... uh- my n-name is P-pete, uhh why is there a girl strapped to your back
Horu, with a smile on his face then told the boy to not worry about it and assured Pete that he wasn't going to hurt him. He reached his hand forward to pat him on the head but shockingly, the boy put Horu's arm in a lock thinking that Horu was about to attack him. Horu was surprised that such a cute little boy could do such a complex move. Horu then asked;
Horu: Don't worry I'm not going to hurt you, I'm not even affected by this.
Pete then let go of Horu's hand but asked;
Pete: Then why do you look so pale?
Horu: Don't worry about it, it's probably noth-
Before he could finish his sentence, he fell down to the ground face first with Yura on his back.
Pete looked very worried and thought that Horu was dead, so he dragged him across the ground with Yura on his back and sent him to a rickety old house with a sign that said "No trespassing!"
When Horu woke up, he saw that Pete and an old man were arguing about him being in the house. He then got up and asked;
Horu: Hey, where am I?
The old man then stopped arguing and looked away while Pete came over to Horu
Pete: Oh, you're awake, well this is where I live with my uncle Drakon, we live in this forest, don't mind him though he can be a bit annoying but he's a good person at heart.
Horu then gave out a bit of a worried smile and then realized that Yura wasn't with him. He then asked with a bit of a violent tone;
Horu: Where is Yura?
Drakon: The little missy you brought in is in the other room, I'm treating her!
Horu: Oh, Sorry for overreacting.
Horu looked down as he thought to himself that he was too protective over Yura, then Drakon said;
Drakon: Well this is new, thought you were gonna gimme ya whole life story and why ya here!
Horu: I don't have time for such nonsense, my childhood was very short anyways.
Drakon: Hmm, I like ya wits boy! and you got a really nice physique, ya train in Martial Arts?
Horu: Yes! Yes I do!. My grandpa Mukuso taught me all I know.
Drakon: Mukuso, WAIT MUKUSO,The Mukuso??
Horu: Yes...it's him?
Drakon: Well I'll be damned in a bottle of socks, my teacher Mukuso had a grandkid.
Horu: Your teacher?
Drakon: Yeah! Mukuso was once my teacher, one of the strongest might I add. Only if he trained as much as I did and not be a lazy bum he would've been able to break the third limiter and become a Demigol
Horu: Limiter? Demigol?
Drakon: You don't know what a limiter and a Demigol is?
Horu: No...?
Drakon: Didn't ya go to school or sumn?
Horu: *sigh* no, no didn't
Drakon: Alright then, well y'kn-
Pete: Well y'know, there are 6 locks or limiters within a mortal's body, normal martial artists have the first lock opened after rigorous training, Denkalis are special enough to already have the first lock out from birth so they're on the second lock. The thir-
Drakon: And with the third lock open, you can become a Demigol, at that point you're pretty much almost a mythical entity, making you about 70% mystic. The forth lock means that you have unlocked true mythical power.
Horu: what about the rest?
Drakon: We only know the first 4, the 5th and 6th locks have never been opened by any being that we mortals know of.
Horu: Oh!.... then I'll do it, I've opened the first one, I can do it again!
Drakon looked at Horu and smiled while pete just straight out laughed at Horu and said;
Pete: Didn't you hear him mister, no entity has surpassed the 4th lock, are you saying you're gonna surpass the entities? the gods themselves? Denkalis already have one lock out, which means they're on the 2nd lock, demigols are on the 3rd lock and Mythical entities are on the 4th, it's impossible to do that!. Even Uncle Drakon is just a Denkali after training for several decades.
Horu: It was my father's dream for me to surpass the gods, and now it's mine too, watch me as I break through my limits and become the strongest being in existence!
Drakon looked at Horu with a proud smile on his face and looked up and said, "You really outdid yourself this time, ya old mushroom"
Drakon: Fine! I'll train ya boy!
Horu then got up, looked at Drakon and said;
Horu: What could you possibly know that I don't? I'm pretty ok on my own.
Silence enveloped the room as the two stared each other down.
Drakon: Fine then, I'll show you what true martial arts can really do.
Horu: Not right now by the way, I'm a bit too hungry.
Drakon: WHERE ARE YA PETEY BOY! GIVE THE LAD SOME FOOD.
Pete: Well you don't have to shout about it, I'm right here. *ugh*
Drakon then looked closely at Horu and touched his head for some time to analyse his body and soul, when he opened his eyes, cold sweat ran down his face with pure fear in his eyes. He then told Horu;
Drakon: H-how? The d-d-dark soul, it resides in you.
Horu then looked confusingly at Drakon and said
Horu: Dark soul?
