Two truck loaded of materials arrive the next day. "The other materials will be deliver next sir." the truck driver said to Brian after they unloaded the materials.The truck then set off.
"Since the materials arrived, we can then start working the gate first." said Steve as he look at the materials delivered. The two of them then started to work. They first demolished their old gate of their house and get busy for they do their work seriously.
In the afternoon the workers they have hired arrive and start working in the land before them that is meant for the establishment of the convenience store. The establiahment is eleven meters wide on its font and before the front of the store where the door located.
Denzel is sitting inside a mini restaurant in which is inside a mall waiting for Vince, just this morning she went to pick the documents she have ask the landlady to be sent to her.
"Denzel sorry, we kinda a little too late" Vince said as soon he arrived with Grey. "Hello" Grey greet Denzel. "Hello too, its okay! you two take a sit then will have a lunch first. I already take an order just waiting for foods." said Denzel.
After a few minutes the food is serve. The three of them then start to eat.
"Grey you can also buy a phone if you want just take it as an advance salary. Dad said you will work with them to build the store." Denzel said to Grey as the three of them, are on their way to the third floor of the mall where they sell the phones.
"No need to give paid me a salary, I've been living with your family for a year now. So it was me helping your family." Grey said
"But it was the elders, who told me that you should get paid for the work. As the salary is part of the capital expenses." Denzel said.
"Okay, if their is a salary then I'll accept it. But I will not buy a phone." said Grey. "Thats is right you should get a salary if you work. You really not gonna buy a phone? It can be deducted to your salary or you can apply the installment plan they offer." said Denzel looking at Grey.
"By the way the salary is one thousand per day since it is hard labor, don't worry as I also said that to Brye earlier as he ask because his classmate want to work too." continue Denzel.
"I did not start working yet so I will not spend for any things for now." Grey said.
"What about phone? It is useful these days Vince will buy one. There is no need to buy expensive one as there is some phone that works good, only cost at most seven thousand." Denzel said she seem determined to make Grey buy a phone. "Not for now." Grey replied.
As they arrived at the third floor they went directly to the store of the well know maker of phone. Denzel will buy the same phone she have bought for everyone in her family. She told them that she can pay it by credit.
"Grey you should also buy one yourself. You can do it just like us. You can let Denzel buy it by credit and pay her the money. The phone is really good as I used Denzel phone last night it really does have a big memory capacity and long lasting battery." Vince said to Grey as he is busy checking the phone.
"Okay, Denzel I'll buy a phone but can I pay it monthly. I don't think the salary will be enough for paying the phone." said Vince to Denzel as he deicide to buy the same phone to Denzel.
"Eh'! when I keep asking you, you always said your not gonna. When Vince said it you just once you agree in buying one. Okay you can pay me anytime." said Denzel.
Lets go take a look for the laptop" she said as she walk to the displayed laptops followed by Vince. She did not see that Grey is looking at her intently.
After choosing the laptop she want. Denzel suddenly take a look at Grey which is also looking at her. "I'll buy one laptop for now so everyone can used it anytime." she then walk to the counter to pay what they have bought.
After paying, the three of them went to the home appliances area. Denzel plan to buy a new gas stove range, oven, refrigarator and a flatscreen TV, washing machine and other appliances. The appliances delivered around four o'clock in the afternoon. They started placing it to the place it should be.
Dinner time came and all of them are eating at the dining table. After dinner they once again have a talk in the living room.
"Denzel my friend will work with me in the construction of the store. He and I don't have classes tomorrow so we can work the entire day." Byre said after their dinner.
"Today all the materials are mostly delivered tomorrow we will work the foundation of the store." Brian said. They then discuss more things related in building the building of ther business.
As night get darker everyone had go to their room as for Denzel she is sitting at her bed looking at the documents. Seeing the name she given herself to her previous incarnation. She get emotional and tears fell down in her eyes. As she can't help as she had recall everything she has been through in her previous incarnation.
(I may now have a new identity as Denzel. Still it can't change a fact that I have a previous incarnation that live for more tha two decades. I have some regrets and unfulfilled dream on it. So I will now do all I can to reach both goals in life.)
After she relive those memories she shred the documents and went sleep later.
