Today is the opening day of their convenience store the way they open the store is just like a business as usual. They name it as K's Mix convenience store which name is painted in the wall above the door is written by Denzel.
The K's represent their family name. As today is there opening a lot of their neighbors and other people have come to check the store among them have buy items too.
Denzel set up the cash registar machine. The total amount they have spend for the store is more than a million as they have bought the land before theirs.
As time keep on ticking night came. The store became busier during the afternoon as a lot of people aready know a store open near the street they're living in. As they are having dinner, Grey suddenly recieved a call and went out the house hurriedly after endeing the call with Vince not even finishing their foods. Even Denzel Dad and Uncle leave with them. The other people didn't seem suprise or question the ones who leave all of a sudden, like they're use to it. Brian, Steve and Vince came back at dawn.
As the sun rises another monday came. At the moment Denise and Chloe is cooking for their breakfast. Last night they close the store at twelve midnight, and today they will open the store after breakfast just like yesterday opening
"Morning Mom, Aunt, let me help." Denzel said as she then started putting the utensils in the dining table. Minutes later Brent and Steph have their breakfast. The two then went out to go their school. At eight o'clock Denzel went to the store and open it.
"Hello Zel, greet Brye who came inside the store and went to other cash registar. "eh! no classes today?" ask Denzel when Brye open the other cash registar. "Yes, I have no classes from today to wednesday. They same goes to Vince." Brye said.
"Did the three of them wake up already? They sleep later than me." ask Denzel. "They did, we have breakfast together. I told them I'll be a salesclerk for now and you." Brye answer. The two of them start to get busy as customers came and buy items.
During lunch hour Brian and Steve came in swapping with Denzel and Brye so the two can have a lunch. After they have eaten lunch they came back to the store to help with Brian and Steve.
"Oh right Zel, Are we really gonna open the store for twenty four hours?" ask Brian when there are no customer paying. "Yes Dad, but will observe it fisrt." answer Denzel.
Night came while Brian and Steve are the clerk of the store. The others are having their dinner when Vince and Grey arrived with a liitle girl in tow, look like an eight years old.
"You two came back, come eat dinner with us." Mr. Kynt said. "Lets eat Yesul, the doctor said can now eat any meal for now." Vince said to the little girl. He then make her sit at his right side. Grey follow them.
Denzel just take a look at the three and stands up to leave to the store as she had finish her meal. Once she arrved the store.
"Dad, Uncle you two can go have dinner. I'll take over for now. have dinner I'll take over now." she said. 'As expected there are more costumers at night.' she said to no one as see more customers inside right now. After a while Brye Vince with Grey came inside.
"Denzel, can I talk to you?" said Grey all of a sudden. "Huh! what is it?" she ask. "Zel, Grey has something to talk with you. Let me be a clerk for now." Brye said. Denzel agree.
As she and Grey head out at the backdoor she found Vince sitting at the bench at the corner looking bit concren towards Grey. "What is it you wanna talk?" she ask buy Grey didn't said a word. "What! we just gonna sit here all night?" Denzel said. Grey look back at her then taking a breath he said. "I wanna ask a favor It like this uhmm. I know this a bit wrong but.."
"But what? can you talk straight to the point you know I still need to go back the store." she said straight in Grey eyes. "And you Vince what are you fidgeting there? dont waste my..
"Can I use your bedroom?" Grey said this time cutting her words. "Wh' what? you wanna use my bedroom?" she said raising her voice a little. "Sorry if I raise my voice, you just give me a shock." she apologize after then. "uhm, it was not me who gonna use it." "Hey Grey check your words of course it was not you!" Vince speak this time.
"Actually its like this, the little girl who came with us during dinner is my younger sister. We have no place to go, my sister just got out the the hospital this night..." Grey did not finish his words as Denzel cut him off.
"So you are asking my bedroom in behalf of you sister?" Denzel like she got the point. "Yes since its only your bed is available tonight and your not gonna sleep in it tonight so.."
"Okay, since I'm not sleeping on it tonight. Her I am thought you two gonna confess being gay , since you two look so serious like..." "Im not gay!" said by Vince and Grey the same time. "eh! in sync even in reacting. Tsk Tsk, Ok! not if its not. Is there something else?" she ask
"uhm that is for now." Grey answer. "Ok then your sister can sleep in my bed. I have to go back now. Brye is the only one in there." she said as she turn to go back to the store. Not seeing Grey looking at her intently again.
