"Emperor Savage, she might be part of a the Water God's faction" Heal said with a frown.
Factions were created by Z rank or X ranked mercenaries. Factions acted as academies or the private armies of their respective owners. However, only Z ranked and X ranked mercenaries were licensed to create Factions. In order to keep the balance, Factions had the limit of 20 people for Z ranks and 50 for X ranks. Nobody would be allowed to overthrow the military in the aspect of private armies, or the Black Ops. Once one crosses the threshold of AA rank, titles were awarded. S rank mercenaries were Master, Z rank mercenaries were Emperor, while X rank mercenaries were God, or Star. X rank mercenaries were basically the rulers of this world. They were the masters of their own abilities. For example, the X rank mercenary known as Sky God was the strongest when it came to his ability which was to manipulate the weather. Even fire would fall from the sky if he wanted it to. The X rank mercenary known as Speed Star was the fastest person alive. It was even said that he could travel from planet to planet using his speed. But he was just basically creating short distance worm holes. But of course this was just human assumption, and their own way of decorating themselves. The true Gods were the ones who truly ruled.

Felix had already dragged them all to the stands while Flexo carried Stele. The next battles took place, then the next and the next until it was time for the final round. Felix was smiling. Even though it was just a leap of faith, he had staked all their earnings, using the stadium's official betting platform to place a bet, stating that they would win. And they did win! Not a single person in the crowd had staked on them, meaning that everyone lost their money. It was so exciting. He didn't even want to look yet, lest he ruin the mood.
[You were too reckless! You should have stuck with your demon powers!] Tony and Natasha were having their own private conversation.
[You don't understand...] Natasha said as she suppressed the pounding in her head.
[I do...] Tony said as he looked to a particular place in the audience's seating area.[Hm? They're gone?]
Natasha looked at him with surprise. [You noticed?]

The man in the middle put his hands on his ear."Get everything set. We don't want any disturbance when we begin" he said."Let's go!" he said to his brothers. In a flash of white, they all vanished, leaving the crowd around them dumbfounded.

"NOW THE FIRST ROUND IS OVER! MOVING ON TO THE NEXT ROUND ARE: TEAM 1! TEAM 3! TEAM 5! TEAM 8! TEAM 9! TEAM 10! TEAM 12! AND TEAM 15!!" The crowd roared in approval."LET THE BELOVED CONTESTANTS TAKE A BREAK, WHILE WE OFFER ENTERTAINMENT!" The commentator screeched with unbridled enthusiasm.
Two seals on the ground lit up. Because of the dust and the design of the ground, no one had noticed them until they were activated. These were modern teleporters. An ancient design, but modern functions. Normal teleportation seals could only teleport from one point to another. But the modern ones could change locations, making it possible to teleport from and to different locations.
In a flash of light, two creatures appeared. One was a black ape with four arms, and the other was a fierce looking tiger with an abnormally long tail. Without missing a beat, both charged towards each other. The ape held the tiger's mouth open with its top arms and punched the abdomen and chest with the bottom arms. But the tiger was no weakling either. It's teeth instantly elongated, goring through the ape's flesh in an instant. The ape let go while glaring at its arms. Without missing a beat, the tiger spun around and wrapped it's tail around the ape's neck. Then it began running around while smashing the ape on the ground. The ape struggled, but somehow, the tiger was stronger. The tiger kept on smashing and smashing the ape on the ground. But nobody expected the ape to have an ability. Right before their eyes, the ape began to expand and go larger and larger, reducing the original speed of the tiger. Then the ape ripped the tail and stumbled to its feet. Thee tiger howled in pain and skidded to a halt, while gritting its teeth, suppressing its pain and rage. The claws suddenly grew twice their size, and so did its razor sharp fangs. It grew so large that its mouth was bleeding. Both beasts had growth enhancement type abilities. For a moment, they stood there, motionlessly staring at each other. Then they moved in, charging furiously at each other. With a resounding boom, they collided, kicking up dust everywhere, to the joy of the crowd. The tiger slashed furiously, then retreated. Then went in again, then slashed at the ape's abdomen, then just before the ape was able to retaliate, it retreated once again. But the next time, the ape got the timing right and bashed the head of the tiger. With its superior strength, the head of the tiger was immediately ripped open. It clearly staggered like a drunk. The sadistic ape just walked up to it and dominantly stomped its foot on the head of the ape.
The crowd roared in approval as the seals lit up and the arena was emptied.
"THE NEXT BATTLE IS..." The screen began to randomize the teams. "TEAM 10 VS TEAM 15!"
Felix groaned...
