IN THE OFFICE
Christian and Jeanohntae were laughing and enjoying their conversation.
"I'm glad you're back in my life. It was hard living without you." Christian said looking deep into Jeanohntae's eyes.
Jeanohntae smiled warmly. "Me too. I'm glad your here. You have helped me so much in the past few weeks."
Christian heard her words and wanted to poke fun at her again. "That's because a brain like yours doesn't look at your surroundings."
Jeanohntae opened her mouth in surprised and started laughing. Christian joined in on the laughter. "You are such a jerk you know that." Jeanohntae said still laughing.
"I know. But this jerk has been by your side for so long." Christian said. They were still laughing.
Jeanohntae tried to punch Christian again but this time, Christian caught her small fist and held her hand. "I've missed you Jean."
Their laughter slowly died down as Christian held Jeanohntae's chin and was slowly getting closer. Jeanohntae was also inching her face closer.
Jeanohntae closed her eyes first and Christian got closer. As their lips were about to touch, the door was swung opened.
"CHRISTIAN!" A loud shrieking yell made Jeanohntae open her eyes and move away. Christian recognized the voice and his expression greatly shifted from relaxed to cold.
"CHRISTIAN! What are you doing!?? Christian saw Jeanohntae move away and he was getting frustrated. He stood up with an indifferent expression. "What are you doing here!??"
He glared at Ruth who bowed and quickly apologized. "I'm sorry sir. I tried to stop her but she rushed in."
"Christian, fire her. She did not want me to enter the office. She does not respect me. You need to find a new assistant."
Christian moved his gaze back to the lady who disturbed him. "I'm gonna ask you again. What are you doing here Anna!??"
Jeanohntae was silent just listening. 'Her name is Anna!?? Who does she think she is talking about Ruth like that!??'
"Christian, what do you mean what am I doing here!?? I came here for you. Are you not happy to see me!?? Who is this wretched woman!??" Anna was furious by his words.
Jeanohntae was irritated by this woman's words and stood to face her. "Excuse me! Who do you think you're calling a wretched woman. The only wretched woman in here is the person that came barging into an office that doesn't belong to you and ignoring the assistant that specifically told you not to enter." Jeanohntae would usually never involve herself into another person's dispute. However, she cannot stand anyone calling her names.
'Jeanohntae was indeed kind hearted. She has so much respect for everyone, but the minute someone makes her mad or says some rude sh*t. She would have no filter in that mouth of hers. Just as I remember.' Christian thought smiling to himself.
"Who do you think you are talking to me like that!?? Do you know who I am!?? I am Christian's woman, I have been with him for 2 years. I have been to his home. I am gonna be moving in with him real soon and we're also gonna get married." Anna yelled.
Christian looked at this woman with cold disdainful eyes. "Who said we are getting married and you're moving in. The last time I recall. We broke up a year ago."
Anna looked at Christian with teary eyes. "What do you mean Christian!?? I moved away for a year to give you space to think. I have always loved you. I don't care how many times you say we broke up. I'll always be by your side. I LOVE YOU!"
"You are a clingy person. You have no..." before Christian could finish, Jeanohntae raised her hand to stop Christian from talking.
Christian looked at Jeanohntae who hand a smirk on her face. "Really!?? You've been to his house and you're gonna move in!?? I think that spot is already filled. I already moved in, I am also sleeping in his bedroom, on his bed right next to him." Christian was surprised to hear her words. He was only sleeping on the couch in the room. He could not believe his ears. He started to smile.
Anna was shocked. "What do you mean you moved in!??"
Jeanohntae smirked and ignored Anna's questions. She looked at Christian. "I'm gonna take Ruth for a break at the restaurant across the street. She has worked hard and doesn't deserve to be treated by such a person. I believe you guys have things to talk about." Jeanohntae smiled at him.
Christian smiled back and nodded. He handed Jeanohntae his black card. "Okay, enjoy yourselves. You guys go shopping if you want as well."
He kissed Jeanohntae's cheek and whispered in her ears. "I never knew we were sleeping on the same bed. Because you said it, we'll be sleeping on the same bed starting tonight. I hope you don't plan on changing your mind when we get home." His whispers made Jeanohntae's ears start turning red.
He smiled and turned to look at Ruth. "You don't need to worry about anything. You are not in trouble or fired. Just keep Jeanohntae safe."
Ruth nodded still in shock by Jeanohntae's words. She never thought Jeanohntae could hold her own. Jeanohntae walked to Ruth who was behind Anna. Before Jeanohntae passed by her.
She stopped right next to Anna and turned her head. "You may have known Christian for 2 years, but I have known Christian for years." Anna turned and glared at Jeanohntae, only to see Jeanohntae smiling at her.
Jeanohntae hated arguments, but she couldn't contain herself. She was irritated but still had a kind pure face. "You may tell yourself Christian is yours, but he was mine long before ever setting sights on you."
She walked further to Ruth and smiled. "Let's go and eat. Christian will take care of everything here. Don't worry."
Ruth was still in shock. Jeanohntae held Ruth's hand to leave. Ruth finally gained her composure and followed Jeanohntae to the elevator.
