It was really late when Orion stood up from the bed and looked down at Kora. He made sure that the blankets were around her and she was in a deep sleep. He moved from the bedroom and the fire in the other room was nearly out, since that heated the place he added wood to it and then checked her again. He stood in the doorway staring at her for a moment. She didn't stir and with the blink of an eye he was gone. He had a couple things he wanted to do before she woke.
He knew what he was about to do would really get her pissed off at him, but he was going to do it because he wanted to. Because he simply could not lay there and know things were left unfinished here. She had told him to stop, not that he could not come back and finish. Unless she asked him, she wasn't going to know. She had no reason to ask him about these three men, and if she did ask what their fate was he'd tell her.
