"We must leave. Get out things ready. We cannot stay here anymore," I told my cat hastily as I mopped my tears and cleaned the cold sweat that formed on my brow.
"What do you mean?" she asked me and I parted my lips unable to say a word to her. I could not tell her the hint I got from what he said, right? "What do you mean?"
"The king will punish me for stealing from him. I tried to beg but I think he is yet to decide the punishment," I replied praying she believes me.
