Chapter 55 - I had a dream

Well, it would not be called stealing if they belonged to me, right? I packed all the expensive wristwatches hoping they will give us enough money to survive when we escape. 

The truth was that I did not know how expensive they were in this world. I don't even understand their currency yet. I have not had to spend money when I had my cat, Jefferson, and the king's brother to take care of the bills. 

You could rightfully call me negligent and unobservant justifiably. I was solely dependent on my cat. If she had refused to go with me, I would have not known what else to do when I was a stranger in this world. 

The door of my room opened just in time for the time we planned to live and my escape partner walked into the room in her large size. 

"It is time to leave," she announced. 

I did not need her to say it because I had begun walking to the door with my backpack. I paused outside and looked at her. She nodded and followed me outside.
