Cresencia's hair was died black. The lengthy bangs fell on both sides of her face, highlighting its symmetry and size. Her newly trimmed eyebrows complimented her phoenix eyes well and brought out the fullness of her long grey lashes. And the previously straightened naturally curly hair was curled again, making her breathtakingly charismatic and a few years younger.
The paleness of her skin made her blush noticeably, charming. There was something distinctive about her. It's not about how cute she was at first glance. But because of the uniqueness of her aura.
She is forceful and compelling, like a cold-hearted beauty in the middle of spring.
"Big sister, it's a thumbs up for me!" Emilio clapped his hands as he stared at his sister's new look
"You're authentically gorgeous!" Avelino agreed. He never thought there would be a beautiful fairy behind his sister's makeup, someone who surpassed the characters described in those best-selling novels their mother usually reads.
"I never thought her outfit would match her looks, I mean, look at that--"
She has an hourglass body with the right proportions and identical straight legs.
"I agree, just like a crazy rich Asian filming an authentic eldest lady boss-- ah."
"Thank the heavens, and we did not let the hairdresser trim old-fashioned straight-cut bangs in the middle! The style of the bangs on both sides was pretty enough, and with our sister's glamorous face, she need not cover her forehead like Betty."
"All she's missing is a weapon," Emilio suggested, and Cresencia frowned.
"Yeah, it could be a gun, a sword or-- a bow and arrow!"
Cresencia chuckled
"No, I don't need weapons, and it's illegal to bring one out in public. I'm here for a makeover over-- not for a Hollywood taping..." she gently flipped her hair and stared at the dazzled crowd.
Lunch came by swiftly, the trio chose a restaurant with the best reviews. Avelino mentioned that their second brother had opened his cuisine. And that they should support him by dining there regularly.
The lady posted on the front desk had difficulties explaining her side to a few ladies as they walked in. Today's reception was packed, and there were no rooms available, except for the tiny gaps within the crowded lounge.
"No! I am a regular customer here, and you need to vacate a room for us! Please don't keep us waiting, or else your job is gone! I need to mention this incident to my boyfriend, and for sure none of you can keep this job! Hurry!" the obnoxious lady in red shouted in front of them.
"I apologize, ma'am, but reservations had to be according to the rules. The upper class occupies each room, and we cannot afford to offend any of them--"
"Call your manager over!"
"This lady--"
"I said call your manager over!"
The commotion attracted the attention of the guests dining in the lounge. It's as if they intentionally created a mess for the receiving officer to splash dirty water on the resto's good reviews. And eventually, let the restaurant treasure them to avoid having black gossip.
"I never thought this restaurant's service could be so poor that they let cheap imitation dolls come over and create a nonsensical scandal. What do you think, brother?" Avelino's sarcasm suddenly floated in the air and stopped everyone from talking
Cresencia noticed that most of the guests recognized the appearance of her brothers and their civilian guards. She thought maybe it's true that these kids want to support their brother by regularly visiting this branch. Yet what caught her attention was the ladies upfront who were wearing obscene dresses.
"What did you say?" the same lady who complained earlier responded loudly, earning herself more attention.
"Yes, yes-- This restaurant's security, in my opinion, needs to be changed, else I would refer to them as blind, my brother would be very disappointed with their performance," Emilio added.
"But the second brother is a thrifty person! He cannot afford to send them all to check their blindness disability, and I guess letting them retire early would be the best decision he can make," Avelino hinted
The manager came out shortly with several older staff. They hurriedly bowed and apologized to the little ancestors. He was taken aback by seeing a noble lady in her teens accompanying the children.
Cresencia was so silent that it chilled their bones. Hearing some complaints would be better than not hearing any comment at all. Their boss' attitude in handling the affairs of the restaurant was scary enough that it could give them a heart attack, but in the presence of the eldest lady, they've felt a deathly suction with a strong sense of oppression.
"Young lady, young masters, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience--" the manager spoke, but his knees visibly shook.
"It's okay, manager Mo, and it's just that my sister is unwell and strong perfume scents would be too unbearable for her--" Emilio replied politely. His face looked solemn, but he was targeting the scandal makers.
"Yes, and our sister hates the noise-- I hope manager Mo understands" Avelino sounded gentle, yet his words were full of ridicule and mocking.
The twins might have different characters and talents, but their minds synced and echoed the same bearing. Cresencia did not plan to interrupt because those girls never touched her bottom line, and they never could. From a far corner, a team of photographers was having lunch. And the youngest person finally took notice of the stunning girl with an ancient veil on her face.
He took hold of his camera and adjusted the lens. His teammates were surprised because they knew no one could make this man shoot unless it was about something that interests him. They followed the direction where the camera was pointing.
"Are you a fan of Qin's twins?" Mauro asked playfully
"I don't think he's shooting them-- maybe it's the young lady behind them!" Martin argued
The figures walked away, and he rested his camera down.
"Could that woman possibly become their hidden sister? Qin's family has rumors about strictly hiding their daughter's whereabouts, and she hasn't appeared in any gatherings either," Marco pointed.
"I thought so too. This speculation might be true--" Samuel seconded
But Emmanuel kept silent and continued to stare at the girl in the picture.
