As the tears flowed into their eyes, they experienced a blurring of their eyesight. As excruciating pains appeared to crush their internal organs from the inside out, biting the pain was hardly an option left. They were certain that everything would be resolved in a short amount of time. You wouldn't expect the agony to endure so long, would you? A brief moment of dread ensued once it dawned on them that they might be wrong.
They lowered their head and relaxed their facial muscles before closing their eyes. They inhaled deeply, followed by another breath at the same time. It was their best effort to get their composure back at that point.
