The great dragon Zara had been aware of the existence of the strong mage Ether for as long as she could remember, but she had never had the chance to actually see her in person. Ether had a reputation across the realm for being the most powerful wizard there was, thanks to her ability to exert complete dominion over the elements and shape them according to her whims.
In spite of her notoriety, Zara had always been interested in Ether and her abilities, and she yearned to get further knowledge about her. As a result, she eventually decided to embark on a quest to track her down.
Zara had spent several weeks looking for Ether until she eventually happened onto a small village that was rumored to be his home. She descended to the ground in a nearby clearing and made her way toward the village, taking care to conceal her dragon form from the inhabitants.
