Siege opened his eyes and found himself in an unfamiliar location. 'Where am I?' he thought, examining his surroundings. He had no recollection on how he got here. We recalled all the events of his past up until the moment he heard Violet's speech.
In the green landscape, there were more hues than Siege thought possible. And yet he did not take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the strange countryside...
The green was covered by a blanket of white. The grass glistened with frost; the air cold and silent. Siege wandered around, trying to make sense of the strange position he was in. A question that beckoned itself to be answered hung in the back of Siege's head:
"Is this real?" he asked himself, following a trail that twisted and turned . No two sides were the same. It was a unique environment for Siege, who never experienced such tranquility.
Amid the hills, Siege emerged through chattering trees. He was greeted by an ominous, bizarrely quiet country town.
His next few actions seemed obvious, but he hesitated before taking a step towards the town. As he got closer, he felt more and more uneasy. He gulped as one foot placed in front of another.
"What is this damn place!" he said, frustrated. He couldn't wait to get back to camp and meet his friends. He knew he was in a challenge, but was stupefied when he thought about what he should do next.
"Screw this, I'm going in..." he shouted, stomping towards the town. A wave of cold air blew into his face as he stepped into the town.
'Welcome to ------ town'
The name of the town was scratched off. He immediately knew that the whole town was abandoned. Some of the buildings seemed to have not been inhabited for years. There seemed to be no signs of life for miles upon miles, and Siege felt an overwhelming sense of loneliness.

Siege turned around, his staff appearing in his hand. He grasped it, his consciousness sensing danger. When he did so, the air seemed heavier yet nothing was there.
"How did I do that?" he muttered, staring wide-eyed at his staff. Once it disappeared after killing Daniel, he never saw it again. Moreover, Violet said that all weapons and magical abilities were disabled.
"Something's wro-"
A shadow fell upon Siege as he turned around. A claw flied past his face. He moved back in a fraction of a second, narrowly missing the blow. He didn't have time to blink before his chest exploded in pain.
He caught a glimpse of the nightmare that will haunt him for the days to come...
*******
The red in red eyes glared back at Siege. He took a step back, tightening his grip on his staff. "I will never give up this advantage" he said, his eyes bloodshot.
He took a good look at the distorted... beast. It's black fur radiated it's dark, evil presence. It's class were stained with crimson blood. A sinister expression that looked like a smile gave Siege the skills. He took a step towards the beast. He heard a deep growling sound. Siege froze stiff as the huffing clacking noises grew close. A corpse eater lumbering into the clearing. It's sense of smell was terrifying. It towered over a tree.
Siege watched as the beast extended its claws, ripping through tree after tree.
"Damn it!" he cried, running for cover. He had been swerving in and out of groves of trees for a a long time.
*******
"I can't do this forever. I'll lose by stamina. I have to defeat this thing soon!"
Siege raised his staff at the beast. He ran up close, avoiding the razor sharp claws and threw an overhand cut. The beast responded quickly, blocking the attack with its large fists. The beast raised its claws and swung, slashing Siege's legs.
"Crap!" Siege muttered. He grimaced in pain. The beast sneered and raised its foot. With all of his stamina, Siege rolled out of the way as the foot came crashing down on the ground. Clouds of dust rose from the ground, momentarily blinding him. Siege took a deep breathe, realizing he wasn't dead yet. He started to think, to act instead of react.
With the next attack, Siege threw his hands up, and parried high, with his point towards the beast's face. In his pleasure at his success, he nearly missed the moment to thrust, but thrust he did. The beast surprised, growled and leapt backwards and opened its mouth. Siege didn't counter the threat, but thrust his body to the left, narrowly missing the bite.
The beast's saliva was a dead green color. A strange green mist rose from the toxic saliva.
Siege had the height advantage. He was shocked at how high he had thrust himself in the air. He threw the staff in the air with the left hand, and caught it with the right.
He tensed his muscles as he took hold of the weapon.
"Aaarrrggghh" he screamed, eyes wide.
"I'm going to end this!" he cried, bringing the staff down on the nightmare...
