After everything was settled and the letter had been written and sent over to the Vermin Cartel, Elio stood up and declared his intention to leave. He had a meeting with a man he was interested in buying his property and he wasn't ready to miss it because of the cartel's trouble he knew nothing about.
"Well, now that everything is settled I gotta move, guys." He announced.
"Are you crazy? Didn't you see what they did to Jessie?" Matteo said.
"Thanks for the gentle reminder," Jessie retorted.
"Well, I might not be a goon like the rest of you all but I can take care of myself. Dad and uncle Ricky made sure of that," Elio told his brothers.
"True," Ricky spoke up. Elio had almost forgotten that the man was in the room.
