Chapter 8 - Chapter 7: Hell Circuit Arc - Imposter

"I can't trust you; you're my enemy," rebuked Oshose resentfully before getting back on his two feet. Nicosal took a step forward. "Correct, but I'm the best chance you've got for an—" He sighed. "—ally," insisted Nicosal hesitantly. The hooded demon sighs once more. "So, what do you say, Prodigy of Greed?" asked Nicosal as he smiled with more confidence. That phrase, 'Prodigy of Greed,' brought back memories to Oshose. Good and bad ones from over the years.

"You're going to be of great use to me, boy", a strange deep voice commanded firmly. "My name is Oshose!" a young demon boy argued.

"You see them? Don't associate with those hooligans over there. Join a good faction and make daddy proud", the same strange deep voice insisted. "Yes, …father."

"You're my little bro from now on, Oshose," another young demon boy reassured. "I'm the Prodigy of Greed, which means I'm the leader. And you're…hmm…the Prodigy of Wrath. Yeah. Because you're so fierce, ha-ha."

"Raurrrghhhhh!" the young demon boy from before growled, trying to sound intimidating.

"You've got guts, kid! Congratulations, I'm promoting you to Prodigy of Greed!"

Here is your new Vice Captain," said the other young demon boy. "Pleased to meet you, Oshose, sir," a strong sounding female demon admired. "He has a surname, you know!" laughed the other young demon boy.

Oshose walked toward Nicosal to shake his hand. "I say, 'let's take down the bastard, Solrac,'" agreed Oshose with determination in his eyes.

"I couldn't agree more, leader," responded Nicosal with a smile.

The air fell silent. All the damage once dealt to the grassy plains, the forest of pine and apple trees, the lake, and the rest of the ground was gone as all pieces of rubble shifted back into place. The quivering demon was left in the middle of the fight before he felt a weight fall. Xavier looked at Nicosal and then Oshose nervously. He panicked and started to run towards the portal. His hips shook from side to side.

"Wait, Solrac! Keep the portal open!!" yelled Xavier desperately with a hand raised at level with his face. Nicosal teleports in front of Xavier, and blunt strikes him with the butt of his sword, knocking him down. Nicosal grabbed Xavier by his neck. Xavier sweats nervously, worrying about what will happen. Nicosal raises his fist, and Xavier closes his eyes as a reflex. Nicosal has a gleeful expression on his face.

"I should kill you right here, but then again, it might be more fun to make the rest of your existence a living hell. Get it?" laughed Nicosal with a twitch in his eye. The weak demon flinched. "Damn it, I said a pun. Kill me now," muttered Nicosal as he shut his eyes and looked down at his feet. Xavier seems confused and scared.

"W–what are you going to d—do?" asked Xavier choking.

"I'm going to let you live," said Nicosal. Xavier is shocked and relieved but conflicted between the two emotions.

"What?" asked Xavier.

"I'm going to let you live, but you must obey my orders instead of Solrac's. Got it?" he threatened.

"No. Why would I go to your side?" asked Xavier.

"I have a better chance of survival serving Solrac." Nicosal tightens his grip on Xavier's throat.

"What was that, bitch boy?" hissed Nicosal with a sadistic expression. He could see the world fading in and out.

"Okay, o-kauhhay, I'll obey," pleaded Xavier choking. "Just don't kill me!" Nicosal loosened his grip on Xavier's throat.

"That's right, you will," demanded Nicosal before letting him go, and he fell to the ground. Getting back to his feet, he quivers in submission. Nicosal looks over at Oshose. "Let's go!" insisted Nicosal proudly. "We're going to recruit a certain someone." The three of them walked towards the portal.

The menace looks at the surveillance video on his monitor at the Devil's Seven Prodigies base in Solrac's office.

"Let's see how those two are doing," said Solrac calmly. Solrac sees a dead body on the ground behind the rock that has black hair and two horns. "What? Is Reldaris dead?" said Solrac. He looked closer at the video feed. Shuffling in his office chair left and right, he taps his feet on the ground, missing the footstool that Reldaris was. Solrac sees two demons walking from behind the rock. One is Nicosal, and the other is wearing the dog bondage gimp suit, walking on all fours. "Come to think of it, I never actually saw Reldaris' face. Then who is that body? Oshose?" thought Solrac curiously.

A few moments ago

"Here, put this on, Oshose," said Nicosal as he picked up the gimp suit from Reldaris' corpse.

"Eww, that's from a dead body, and lust is a sin," stammered Oshose in disgust as he covered his face with his hands.

"What's the problem?" asked Nicosal. "Oh right, you're from another world with different principles," he remembered.

"Fine, I'll put it on," relented Oshose. Slipping on the latex gimp suit onto his legs, feet, arms, head, and torso, then locking the bondage locks to make his elbows and knees function like dog legs and paws. "This is uncomfortable!!" complained Oshose, squirming in place and muffled from the mask.

"Yeah, if you're discovered, you'll be executed, 'Reldaris,'" giggled Nicosal sarcastically. "Just be a good boy and don't talk, ha-ha." Oshose struggles to move and get himself on all fours. Squiggling in the latex dog bondage suit.

"This isn't funny, Nicosal!" blurted Oshose.

They teleport back to the area just before the portal. The three demons walk through the portal. "Don't act up, Xavier," cautioned Nicosal as he slapped him.

"Ouch!" cried Xavier with crocodile tears running down his cheeks.

Solrac still sat at his desk, now wearing a headset. "Emilia!" yelled Solrac on the voice chat as his face crinkled up.

"Yes, Solrac?" gushed Emilia on the voice chat, annoyed.

"Go to the portal and investigate," commanded Solrac tensely. "I have a feeling we have an imposter." He looks at Oshose, who is wearing Reldaris' gimp suit.

"Yes, sir," responded Emilia hesitantly. She looks at her reflection on the monitor and squints. "I really don't like him that much," thought Emilia. "It's more to not be executed by his allies." She presses a button on a remote, and an otherworldly sound of whooshing is heard. Emilia arrives at the entrance to the portal and takes off her headset. She sat down on the couch behind her, crossing her legs. The three demons come through the portal in front of Emilia. A sound of crackling flames echoes through the room before the sound of the intense wind. Nicosal, Oshose (in the gimp suit), and Xavier step out of the red and blue flames. Boot boots clacking, rubbery footsteps, and dress shoes shuffling echo along the walls. Nicosal walks closer to Emilia, away from the other two.

"Hello, Emilia," teased Nicosal cheerfully and calmly.
