Chapter 13 - Chapter 12: Creation - Prologue

Imperfect mortals tell an oversimplified version of the tale of creation, but they were a bit off from the truth.

All was dark yet not; for being did not exist, yet there was. And there was not. Was there somewhere before? Was this the beginning or the end? Out came a shapeless one, yet its shape was already decided. Who spoke it into being? Unable to think, feel, or sense, as there was not but a concept. Then, without warning, a bright circular light rose from the nothing; masked yet not masked. Whose doing was this? Then, the light revealed the presence of other nothings. These were different, because unlike the light itself, they instilled the first feelings in this shapeless one. The first thoughts. What are those? What are their names? Then it came to it, that it could make a name for those things for which it did not understand and try to understand them. The sound that those lights gave off gave it its first word: uni. Another gave the shapeless one the sound: verse. It was decided, for these non-illuminating spheres of many lights would then be called: Universe. Dozens, thousands, an untold number of universes surrounded the consciousness of the shapeless one. Their appearance gave the shapeless one the idea to become one of them, a universe. Bright, glaring; the shapeless one took shape. Billions of little dots of light made up its shape. Now with a form, the new universe spoke its first words out loud. For mortals, those words were on a frequency out of their ability of comprehension. There were many universes. The shaped one created many of itself, and many more. Unable to handle the multitude of all these other beings, the shaped one stored them inside of its own being. Those universes collided, fell apart. It gave the shaped one its first feeling: pain. The dust left behind from these miniature universes created a new universe; a unified one. The shaped one could feel many more beings inside of itself. Curious of what their realms looked like; it based its own domain off the multitude of bright colors that emanated from the many universes around itself. Blue, white, and gold; the colors of its domain were beautiful. For once in the shaped one's being, it struggled to decide a name for its domain: heaven, nirvana, Zaionn, Aizrael, Petersburg, and many more. It never decided on a name, and instead left it up to the many beings inside itself. It could feel explosions from time to time. Finally, it decided to descend to its inner beings and set some rules. But there was a problem, there occurred a strange phenomenon in which all these beings perceived it differently. Some of what they called a Goddess, a God, or a divine being. It made its own solid decision for the first time. The shaped one took on the name of a Goddess. It observed the depictions of these early beings' Goddess. For it now took on a womanly appearance. Dark complexion, hair like moss, a beautiful facial structure, etc. There was a problem. There arose many beings inside her that believed that God was white-skinned and a man. This angered the Goddess, so she decided to inflict her first punishment for these so-called sinners. The ones who thought God was white and a man won the battles against the opposition. This further angered God, but she gave up for the time being. Building off the idea of created other versions of herself, the Goddess created a certain number of look-alike beings, but made them different skin colors and genders. They were called Angels. They were to do the work of God where she could not. Divine power (otherwise known as Heavenly Essence) may be all-knowing, but it can only be spread so thin. The same is true for its counterpart, Hell Essence. However, even the divine is not entirely flawless. The current age is one of Evanescent Bloodlines.
